I contacted Banner and was able to schedule a new patient appointment 13 months out from the time of scheduling. I reserved the appointment then found ZocDoc on a google search and called Lisnet's office at Milagros In South Tucson. Got an appointment within a few days. I was very impressed with her knowledge, professionalism and thoroughness. The only drawback for me was needing a ride to her office from Green Valley. Lisnet made some medication changes and ordered tests I needed. She immediately referred me to specialists for specific testing and they were quick to book and good. The only reason I stopped seeing Lisnet was the 13 month appt with Banner in Green Valley finally arrived and I went as it was 2 miles from home. The MD I have been seeing is alright but not as good as Lisnet. If you are at all able to get an appointment within her, you will not regret it.

He is very through in describing your test/ lab results as well as explaining different treatment paths and why he thinks one path is the best. Recently I was out in a new medication and when I started having negative side effects I was able to message Dr Maxwell through their patient portal and he messaged me back the same day and had a new prescription ready for me soon after that. I can't recommend Dr Maxwell high enough!!!

Shown to my room quickly and Dr. Gallo came in soon after that. (It is an absolute pet peeve of mine when I schedule an appt but I'm not seen until much later!) -Dr. Gallo was professional but extremely personable. Friendly, good sense of humor--NONE of the arrogance, uncaring attitude or rushing out the door I've experienced in the past. -My procedure (removal of stitches) could be done in the office by Dr. Gallo's staff (who were also very nice and funny) Will DEFINITELY be back and highly recommend Dr. Gallo if you are looking for a great doctor!

A mistake that's now cost me health, money and a lot of time. They didn't submit the proper documentation to my insurance on time - even though I called and asked multiple times - each time I was met with a rude tone, as if "we're not stupid - don't ask us again". Well, my insurance confirmed that the office ignored multiple phone calls and faxes trying to get it covered. They lied and wouldn't even try to help resolve the issue - then calling the company that she works for - they couldn't care less. They "looked into" my issues and found no problems. They wouldn't talk to my insurance or care to look at the evidence - they said "we talked with Dr Gallo's staff and everything was done properly". No, it wasn't and that's why I'm not liable for THEIR referrals - because they wouldn't submit it within the timeframe needed and lied about it. We choose professionals to do things like that because it's a complex deal understanding the processes and policies involved. They don't act professional and it's as if they enjoyed my issues - both Dr Gallo and Laura. I'm going to sue them because it's cost me months of treatment, a financial loss and countless hours of my life - not to mention the stress it's put on me. I am very picky when it comes to doctors/dentists (I went through about 4 doctors after I moved to Tucson before I met Dr. Lin!). She recommends natural remedies and suggestions. She's honest when it is needed (I had gained some weight (5-10lbs) and she suggested that I go back to my previous weight from the year before, for health reasons). I very much recommend Dr. Lin if you are in search of a personal and caring doctor. I am a young professional (late 20's), so I do not know how she treats kids or older adults, especially if you have more health problems than I do.

My Dad was a very hard worker but was BFS (Business for Self) so they were not able to qualify for regular insurance. Now, my Mom & Dad were immigrants from Mexico had us, 3 daughters. I don't remember ever having to go see a Doctor, because Mom made sure that we were taking liquid vitamins, cooked for us 3 times a day and we didn't lack for anything, we didn't know we were poor. Mom gave us SSS Tonic, Fish oil and she made healthy food for us. The point is that they took care of us "Old School" so in essence My sisters, Mom & Dad may have had to work extra hard to keep us healthy & happy. Finally, my Daddy retired and He was eligible for AHCCCS and El Rio became their preferred Clinic and all the team members at El Rio took good care of them. I am very grateful to them because we were very poor BUT Mom & Dad did their best with what they had. Fortunately, El Rio Clinics were there to help their patients by offering resources, when needed. Now, me, as I age am also going to the El Rio Health Clinics. They have done a great job; their clinics keep growing and are up to about 6 locations around the Tucson Area, still serve those with low income : ) but their Clinics are very clean, they have resources available which may not be offered to patients who go to other well-known, Expensive doctors, hospitals and clinics. I am grateful to them because now that I am not working or have health insurance.... they have coordinators, social workers available and programs so that people can stay healthy. Even though they may not be able to afford care because they currently don't have insurance coverage or enough money to pay for medical care, the automated answering service states the following while you wait for a person to take the call: "Where Your health is our passion". Tucson recommended I go in this El Rio location and speak to some of the team there as they have a sliding scale program for those who do not have medical insurance. The ladies in the downstairs office helped me out and got me on their plan to correct my dental issue. I saw Doctor Lauder and can I just say him and the team there are super kind and extremely professional! I went into for an initial check in with X-rays and a quick meet up. I was. Scheduled for the filling exactly two weeks later at the opening of the building. It was a miracle they were able to provide professional care to correct this one tooth. They were fast and it didn't hurt at all! I am so grateful to the entire team here! I did indeed get my Arizona healthcare in but the waitlist to become a new patient is a one year wait! EIGHT PEOPLE we're waiting on me in the ar trying to and they were working out those deep make sure I didn't die. Not ONE WORD from a Martinez!! I ended up with TWO CARDIOVERSIONS & have to wear a cardiovest for THREE MONTHS! I'm taking MANY DRUGS to let's try and keep my heart at a proper rhythm. I NOW HAVE HEART DAMAGE! The first time I went, I scheduled through ZocDoc and it said they accepted my insurance. Little did I know that the insurance had defaulted to my dad's (I was helping him schedule appointments previously). I get to the office and realize what happened. The lady at the front says it is fine since they do accept my actual insurance. Cool beans, right? Show her my insurance card and I pay my copay and off we go. About a week later, I receive a letter saying my insurance actually wasn't accepted by them and that I owed $200. BUT they were going to give me $100 off as a "courtesy". Seriously? Anyways, I call my insurance to dispute it. Guess what? Dr. Platt's office is in fact in my network and that front desk lady is clueless. She also had the nerve to tell me my insurance is not accepted at ANY medical establishment in Tucson. Wow right? Lol. That caused me some stress. Dr. Platt is nice though so go see him.
