Ordered large pizza half cheese/taco no meat, medium mushroom and shrimp pizza and a shrimp basket. Total was 60$! Shrimp was burnt, pizza was ok. Heavy on the cheese.

Different than most other GF pizza places. The pizza was good, but like I said, it's a different, more of a thin crust thing. I enjoyed it greatly. It seems to be very busy so get there early. I'd also recommend considering going for more than less when considering volume as we burned through the pizza very quickly (not super large, but just a recommendation, not a knock). The one negative I had was the salad. It's essentially the shredded lettuce with olive and tomato toppings thrown in. It will get the job done, but not what you'd expect as a salad. Overall, this is better than many of the other chains, so give it a try!

As thin and greasy as ever...some say that is it's appeal and beauty.

Oh Howard's... how you have impacted the lives of so many. My family moved to Great Falls in 1975. Our kids were young and like so many others growing up in Great Falls, exposed to a pizza market dominated by Howard's and their numerous locations. They loved it. My wife and I tried to expose them to other pizza options over the years, but the culinary imprinting was too strong. When they left home, one of the few positive results my wife and I realized was "no more, greasy, drip off your elbow, paper thin crust pizza" for us. Then, every time they would return home for school break or vacation, we had to have Howards. When friends would invite us out for pizza, it was always at Howard's. The Howard's ordeal finally ended when we moved to the lake. As we were recently house sitting for my daughter, we were discussing dinner options and Howard's came up. Haven't had one in 15 or 20 years. Nostalgia, curiosity, latent self-abuse issues, not sure why, but we ordered one. I'll give Howard's credit after all these years. It still tastes the same. Won't need a repeat for another 20 years.

All I can say is Howard's Special w/ light sauerkraut. The thin crust is excellent. Family loves going here!

I'm completely hooked on their sour kraut pizza... It's a yummy alternative to your normal pizzas!

Although it may sound odd, the Kraut Special (sauerkraut and sausage) should definitely be tried.

Zza is great when hot and equally good for breakfast the next morning…read more I must admit however, the pizza doesn't quite taste like I remember it as a kid Not sure if it's lower quality ingredients or what ... but it's a still go to in great falls MT whenever we visit family

A few days ago, I placed an order for pickup and was greeted by a friendly staff member when I arrived, which is typical. After I paid, I waited nearby for my order--and that's when I noticed something very concerning. The same employee who was working the register was also pulling pizzas out of the oven, cutting them, boxing them, and even adding toppings to pizzas before placing them in the oven. I observed her go directly from handling cash to touching food multiple times--three or four separate occasions during the short time I was there. At no point did she stop to wash her hands. I'm not a health expert, but I believe this is a clear case of cross-contamination. Money carries all kinds of germs and bacteria, and seeing someone go from handling cash straight to sticking their hand into a toppings bin or touching cooked pizza was honestly disturbing. It made me question how long this has been going on and whether proper food safety practices are being followed behind the scenes. I think this staff member--and possibly the entire team--could benefit from reviewing basic food handler safety guidelines. I hope management addresses this quickly, because while the food has always been good, witnessing that kind of unsanitary behavior really made me lose my appetite. I threw the pizza out and went home. I won't be ordering here ever again.
