Wandering around the garden center is always a relaxing experience, where you can take comfort that no 1970's mafia bosses or Italian gangsters are hiding behind the plants. Year after year, Bronk's remains one of my favorite places for gardening needs. More concrete stepping stone and less cement shoes, Bronk's wows with a sea of beautiful flowers and herbs in spring and summer. Check out their fun assortment of osteo colors! Gorgeous mums, gourds, and huge pumpkins overtake the parking lot in the fall. No shakedowns here...only a great selection of lovely plants, top-notch produce, and whimsical garden accents at reasonable prices (snatch three pumpkins for $10 or three mums for $30!) But mum's the word on the mum and pumpkin deals lest Benny thinks you're a snitch. Raising my champagne glass to Bronk's--5 stars! He acted as if my money wasn't good. I don't know for sure what his problem was. It really is sad because we are great customers of Bronks and have been for many years. I'll probably take this post down in a week or so, but I won't buy from this guy again if he's clerking.

There are several in different parts of Rochester, so when we moved, it was very easy to transfer our prescriptions and continue normally. Talk about convenience! Recently, I needed a prescription renewal that I had difficulty getting directly. Hyvee stepped in and the one I needed fastest was available the next day, with a request pending for the other one. Wow! Frankly, this is the best service, convenience, and price we've found, and we're loyal for life so long as we live here and the service remains excellent. Thanks, Hyvee Pharmacy! P.S. If we ever pick up in person, we treat ourselves to a few grocery items we can't get anywhere else in town. The grocery stores these pharmacies are in are great resources for foodies who miss big cities and love to indulge in the finer things. P.S.S. We LOVE that the butchers will indulge our needs at the holidays, at no charge. I've missed old-fashioned meat departments. We don't buy a lot of meat, but when we do, it's nice to have it just the way we like it.
