Would be nice to be limited to each paying customer but not in my case. Apparently my kids buying cards with their own earned money got myself banned from this store. They chose to buy it not for me but for them to enjoy as teens and the Bald guy with glasses just ruined it for my family. We would go every time they got paid and shop around for collectibles and sometimes cards if my kids liked them but not anymore. Even before this incident, the guy with the glasses would always eye roll when u ask him to get certain items and his tone was a bit like he's annoyed. I always had a sigh of relief when i went there and this particular employee was not working that particular day. If you're having a bad day, don't just throw it at random customers. I used to like this store and its one of the only store i still go to when i go to the Mall. This employee happened to ruin it for the lot of us who enjoyed going their just to browse at things to buy in the future or the present. I'll be taking my business elsewhere and not support this store until something is done to this particular employee.

The owner recommended a great idea for engraving, which is done by him in house on just a few days time, same day if he has time. The price was very reasonable. He also buffed and polished the ring, it looked almost new! I had cleaned the ring prior to taking it in but his cleaning was much better. The engraving looked great! I had never been to this jewelry store before. They have a great selection. If you need a gift for a wedding, anniversary, baby shower, Mother's Day, etc....THIS is the place. I was hesitant to stop by the store due to one of the reviews below (not recommended by Yelp) and…read moreI've had some bad experiences with collection stores in the past too (I'm an avid classic gaming collector and I collected Magic/Comics years ago). Very glad I ignored that bad review and stopped by for a visit. Amazing store, good selection, great/friendly owner. The first thing you'll notice when you walk in the store is the DVD collection. They have a huge inventory. I'm not a big collector of DVD's so I can't really comment on the prices or selection. However, they have a ton, they are well organized, and I'm sure if you are looking for movies this would be a great place to come. I was really impressed with their collection of Board Games. I've always wanted to try some of the challenging games like The Settlers of Catan (which the store had an entire collection), but have always shied away because of the price (I'd hate to buy a game I know very little about and find out that I don't like them). Next time I'm in the store, I'll ask the owner about them and find out more information. I mainly checked out the store today for their Graphic Novels and Comics. I haven't collected in years and I just wanted to pick up a few good books for their stories. The owner helped me find the Walking Dead comics I wanted and pointed out some books he highly recommended. The store has a wall of "guaranteed" books, in which they'll buy the book back if you don't like them. In addition to that, they offer a buy 10 and get 1 free card. I only glanced quickly at their video games because I was in a hurry and had already spent a good amount of time talking to the owner. I like my games in mint condition with boxes and manuals. Most of the titles seemed to be loose carts (I'm talking about older stuff), so this might not be the best selection for hard-core collectors, but they had a large selection for people just interested in a good game. The best part of the store is the owner. You can always find collectables cheaper online (don't forget online stores don't have overhead like rent), but you come to places like this for the customer service. You can tell Jim loves what he does and is excited to share it with others. There's so much stuff out there to buy that it is really nice to have stores like Jimmyjams for suggestions. Great clean and organized store. I'll be back when I'm in town.

My family came by here on the way to the Pearl Ice Cream shop. My husband and I collect magnets and…read morestickers from different states to commemorate our adventures and thought this would be a cool place to get our stuff. Well all I can say is we deeply regret our decision. Just to give context, we came in about 30 minutes before closing and we are not ones who come into a place tearing the place up. We literally needed a magnet and sticker. The little mean brunette girl pretty much ignored us and was rude the whole time. My husband tried making small talk with her to lighten her piss poor mood, and asked her if the game of La crosse originated from here, and she snarled at him and replied,"I guess". Being that we were from out of town (Texas), this was a legit question from someone who is from out of state, so her attitude was not warranted and she needs to fix her face. Anyway, my husband handed her the magnet, which I told him to go somewhere else to get it because it costs extra for her to be nice, but he just bought it to save himself the hassle later. He first walked in front of the register so he could pay with his Apple Watch, and she slammed the magnet on the opposite counter, so he walked around to the counter with the magnet. He then asked where he needs to go to use his Apple Watch to pay, and she pointed back to the area he was just standing at originally. Sigh! After the transaction, there was no thank you, appreciate it, or have a nice day. Apparently we interrupted her quiet time and that warranted her crappy attitude. The sad part about this is the store next door (Drift Mercantile) that is owned by the same person, but had a different employee (blond girl) who was super friendly and didn't act annoyed when we came in. She could teach the short brunette girl with long hair something about customer service or just how to be a good human. So my rating of one star was given because they did have some neat shirts in there, but honestly, the employee working at this store was such a jerk, I lost my will to want to buy anything. I rarely give a one star because I don't ask for a lot when I shop, eat, or go out to public spaces, but this girl pissed me off enough to warrant this one star review. Don't shop here until they get their attitudes in check.
