Bunion surgery here is done via minimum invasive surgery which means it's done in this office in a…read morespecial room with an x-ray machine & the doctor makes a couple of incisions around the bunion area & uses the x-ray machine to guide her in the surgery. I was prescribed an antibiotic to take prior to the surgery as well as valium. The procedure took a little over an hour & you are awake the whole time but cannot see what is going on as they put up a curtain although I will admit my foot felt real weird during it but I was not in pain. Was sent home with pain meds & the doctor was wonderful. She checked in with me over the weekend and has a wonderful bedside manner as well as her husband who assisted during the surgery. He advised every step of the way so that I knew what was going on. This place is extremely clean & the staff is very organized. Definitely recommend for all your foot needs! Will update with pics once my foot has finally healed.

He even called me right back when I called the day after surgery (on a sat morning), even though he was not on call, and talked me through my drama. (All I had to do was loosen my ace bandage!) I just went back for my suture removal and hobbled my way in, in my boot. Doc gave me the courage to walk more normally in my boot, providing the reassurance I clearly needed - letting me know everything would be okay. I previously went to another orthopedic doctor in Lansdale (who is now retired) but after several visits, $400 orthotics that are very uncomfortable/useless, and no change in my pain I decided to try someone else. I met with Dr. Miller and explained my problem. Upon his initial assessment he determined I had plantar fasciitis. He recommended a plan of action, starting with a steroid shot in my heal. He recommended putting ice on my heal once I got home, a few stretching exercises twice a day, and a few prescription meds. I can honestly say after only a few days following my visit I feel 75% better with little pain. I just had a follow up appointment, and he provided one more heal injection and supplied me with full foot orthotics for only $69.00. They are much more comfortable than my other $400 custom orthotics the other orthopedic sold me... Dr Miller is very friendly, very thorough, and treats his patients with the upmost care. I will definitely recommend Dr. Miller to my friends and family.
