Great Dentist who cares about his patients. Reasonably priced work compared to other dentists in New York. Highly recommended.

I am submitting this review as a formal record of my experience with Smile Crafters in Cambria…read moreHeights, Queens, and to document a pattern of conduct that raises serious concerns regarding professionalism, patient safety, and compliance with basic healthcare service standards. I previously received dental work from this office that was acceptable. However, my most recent experience demonstrates a significant decline in service quality, staff competency, and operational integrity. 1. Lack of Professionalism and Training The staff displayed behavior that is inconsistent with the standards expected of a licensed dental practice. Employees appeared undertrained, disorganized, and unable to provide accurate information regarding appointments, treatment plans, or follow‑up care. This level of unpreparedness is unacceptable in any medical environment, especially one responsible for patient health. 2. Failure to Respond to Calls, Emails, and Emergencies Repeated attempts to contact the office were met with: Extended hold times Being placed on hold and forgotten Calls being disconnected No returned calls No responses to emails No acknowledgment of urgent or emergency situations A dental provider has a duty of care to ensure patients can reach them for post‑treatment issues, complications, or urgent concerns. The complete lack of communication represents a serious breach of professional responsibility. 3. Lack of Transparency and Accountability At no point did the office provide: Clear explanations Timely updates Proper documentation Any form of accountability for the delays or failures in communication This absence of transparency undermines trust and raises questions about the clinic's internal management and compliance with New York State dental practice regulations. 4. Emotional and Practical Impact As a patient, I was left: Without support Without answers Without access to necessary follow‑up care The experience was deeply disappointing and distressing, especially given that dental issues can escalate quickly without proper attention. 5. Public Safety Concerns Based on my experience, the clinic's operational failures may place other patients at risk. A dental office that cannot reliably communicate, respond to emergencies, or maintain professional standards should be subject to review by the appropriate regulatory authorities. Conclusion My experience with Smile Crafters - Cambria Heights was unprofessional, unsafe, and unacceptable. The lack of training, communication, and transparency demonstrates a systemic problem, not an isolated incident. This review is submitted to: Warn other patients Document the issues for public record Encourage oversight and corrective action No patient should be forced to endure this level of neglect from a licensed dental provider.

Dr Samet is the nicest, caring professional dentist I am SOOOO lucky to have found him…read more Even the front desk staff, to the hygienist it seems like their motto is "patient satisfaction" and they went above and beyond for my husband and I. After finding Dr Samet through a friend who had some cosmetic dentistry done by him (which looked amazing btw) I decided to take the long drive down to Far Rockaway, and boy was it worth it! My husband was complaining of dental pain and after a dentist near us shooed away and told him to just take some Motrin, Dr Samet gave us his latest appointment that same day and stayed long after closing time to do a last minute root canal. Throughout the procedure he frequently asked his pain level, make sure his was adequately numbed, positioned him for comfort. He also took the time to explain the procedure and even showed us his nerve haha was in aw by his attention to detail After the procedure he sat with us and explained what he would be feeling in the next couple of days, medicated him in the office with his antibiotics and Vicodin And to top it all off the doctor himself called to check on how my husband was doing early the next morning! Thank you Dr Samet !! How this amazing office has no reviews? I don't know but 5 stars to this great team ! Keep up the great work

This place is a rip off. I thought for many months if i should post a review for this place. I went…read moreTo this dentist to have a root cancal done. The dentist was nice and explained everything to me in detail about payment, however he isnt the greatest when it comes to his professtional status to dential work being done. He was suppsoe to do one of my teeth the mold tooth all the way in the back. I have had problems eith the tooth and we were trying to save the tooth instead of taking it out. In the beginnging he did say he can save the tooth. However, when he started the procedure he felt that he wasnt able to save the topth, simply because i was telling him what to do. How to numb me, because he only numbed the central nerve, which wasnt numbing the tooth it was only numbing the surrounding area of the tooth. As, soon as he put the drill next to my tooth, i still felt the pain and refused the process, until he numbed not only the central nerve of the behind the tooth but also around it and on it. So instead he said i cant do it, because i telling him how to numb the area. So after going to another dentist - and telling him a story, they said it is typical of him to that, because he is the kind that doesnt like when people tell him what to do, espically patients. If he knew that he might be able to do it, he should of never said that he can do it. After that he is blaming me and terminated me as a patient. Doesnt matter , just wanted other people to know about him.
