With an all female office, you immediately notice a difference when you walk in and it smells like the appropriate season. They always have a little candle burning. This visit was pink pineapple sunrise and last time in the winter it smelled like flannel weather. That along with beautiful furniture, recently painted calm grey walls, and even designer mirrors, all add to the vibe that this isn't some outdated office. Things like gloves and protective napkins are hot pink instead of white. And there is a legit good playlist of country music and easy going songs to help you relax. You might even get to catch an episode of shark week while your teeth get cleaned. The staff is very patient and takes their time to make sure they have quality work. The schedulers also are super helpful at following up to make sure you remember your appointments too! They follow strict guidelines at the moment due to Covid-19 but are very accommodating and helpful. The dental hygienist was great and we actually had a lot in common with my hometown. She explained everything and there was no pain during the cleaning. She was very pleasant and personable. Dr. Jones came in and introduced herself before checking X-rays and teeth. She was very professional and friendly and made me feel welcomed at the practice. She came highly recommended and exceeded expectations. So I call to make an appointment and I'm told new patients have to come in for two appointments almost back to back. Ok a little different but whatever. I also make sure to ask that they except my insurance. She says yes they do so wonderful I am a happy customer. The first visit is to be a very thorough visit with all kinds of photos and things that I have never done before. The second visit would be for the cleaning. Well the receptionist called me a few days before my visit and asked if I could stay for the cleaning. I was a bit confused as this was to happen on the 2nd visit but it wasn't a problem and I told her I could stay. I asked once again if they had checked with my insurance company and she said yes everything was good. So on the day of my appointment, I check in and then the office manager calls me back to her office. Weird. She lets me know that they are Out-of-Network and she is not sure how much will be covered by my insurance and how much I will owe. So I was not happy and it did not give me a good first impression or visit. I will say the hygienist who cleaned my teeth and apologized profusely was very nice and so was the dentist. I think the front office needs to be upfront and do a better job. Maybe this is their way of getting people in there and getting money. The jury is still out if I will go back. It will depend on when I receive my bill and see how much I owe.

The amount of times they called to reschedule me should have been my first indicator. First of all, the dentist is very blunt and not personable. For example, I explained to her I clench my jaw and wish to see a TMJ specialist because one of my teeth is impacted so much, it feels like I have a cavity, but there's no cavity. She says she can shave down my tooth. I said there has to be other options that aren't as invasive. All she says is "no" and that she believes my TMJ isn't bad enough but she'll refer me. I had a filling on a root canal they wanted to put a crown on, which I had heard from my prior dentist, so I accepted treatment. I wish I hadn't because the temporary tooth fell out 3 times in the span of 1.5 weeks. The first tooth fell out while I was eating eggs. The second temporary tooth lasted less than 4 hours. Again, it fell out while I was eating eggs. I asked for a different person to put in my temporary tooth, thinking that was the problem. No, someone else was at the dentist because their temp also fell out the day prior. The person that put my temp in put it in backwards and I had to be the one to tell them it was wrong. How could they not know? The third temp tooth fell out just 4 days prior to my permanent tooth being put in. Since I work two jobs, my schedule doesn't allow me to keep going back to get a temporary tooth put in every few days. Permanent tooth comes in... well it doesn't fit. They think it's because my gums grew over my tooth in the 4 days the temp wasn't there. So they cut my gums. Tooth still doesn't fit. They re-order a new tooth and say they'll priority ship it to arrive next week. It's next week- I call for an update. They say the permanent tooth won't be here until 2 weeks from now. So they lied to me and guess what? My temporary tooth fell out while I was eating a banana. I've not flossed around that temp tooth, have not eaten on that side, and have altered my diet over the last month to soft food only. Yet, the temp tooth still managed to fall out. 100% this is a dentist issue, not a patient issue. Please do not waste your time or money at this joke of a business.

Absolutely awful business, constantly have more issues after a visit than I did before, and seriously? Why does it take 4+ times of giving me a "temporary solution" before you discuss permanent solutions with someone?
