I have been seeing a very competent doctor for years for my horrific joint pain. I recently moved to the Houston area and needed a local doctor. I was told to go see Dr. M. I made the appointment just fine. There was an issue getting my extensive files transferred but finally all came thru. When you visit the office you must give a urine sample......in a different part of the building and walk through the halls with your pee in hand! Weird but ok. The ladies at the front are nice but that is where it ends. The nurse Mary was the rudest, most disrespectful person I've ever met. She sits with her back to you asking a million question(which you take time to fill out before your appointment). She has the worst tone in her voice and she is texting under the table the whole time. Having chronic pain is hard enough but to be treated like she treats you is very insulting. When he does finally comes in, he said he wasn't going to treat me for my pain with the traditional meds that I was taking, he decided to schedule me for injections(without looking at my Mri). I told him IF I were to get injections that I would be getting them from a different place that was recommended from my chiropractor. He got his ego hurt and from that moment on he refused to look at anymore of my charts and told me to take extra meloxicam for my pain. Between him and his rude nurse Mary, I have decided to look elsewhere for a empathetic doctor that would take the time to actually look at my history and work with me to release some of the pain I live with on a daily basis.

I demanded and Ortho Dr. Dr Hadnot was very informative and recommended a simple knee surgery with pre surgery and post surgery procedures. Scheduling the surgery was "hell" the administrative nurse was totally incompetent and refused to return my calls. I received no pre - surgey information and my post surgery procedures to include rehab and medicines (very important) were not ordered; although I inquired several times before the surgery. I was lied too by the admin that my pre and post was organized. It was not and was not even 3 weeks after the surgery. The Doctor who completed the surgery left TRP and my knee continued to give me issues because I had no post surgery recovery. I returned to TRP and they scheduled me with a PA. The PA told me to wait a couple months to see what would happen with my knee. I demanded to see Dr Hadnot who immediately ordered another MRI. I returned to my appointment to have my MRI evaluated and the TRP set me up with a PA again and told me the Dr was not available. The Office Manager told me "I will review your case and decide whether we will care for you". I replied it is my decision and "TRP will not care for me; I am going somewhere else". This WORKS. I've been seeing Wilson for a couple of years now on my travels, and I can tell you that no one has ever helped me quite the way he does. He has devised an acupressure technique that gets right in and helps, and is like nothing I've ever encountered in my vast and constant search for good treatments of my hard-working back. His intuition is unparalleled, and his skill is like that of a brilliant mechanic of the human body. This is not a feel-good massage or a physical therapy appointment - it is unique. It is hard work, which is probably why I've never found anything that compares - Wilson spares no effort and generously gives a constant level of pressure and energy where it is needed, and tirelessly works on knots and circulation issues. While it often hurts or is tender during the treatment, it is indeed good pain. It feels like a good stretch on the inside of your body, between your vertebrae, in your facia, tendons, joints. After the treatment, the pain disappears, the body feels tuned-up, and energy flows again. Wilson's new office is perfect - simple, no-frills, quiet, and easy access. I can't believe I'm about to say this, but I almost wish I lived in Houston just to see him on a regular basis and be pain-free! For those of you that do, I cannot recommend his treatment highly enough. After three months with no improvement--and after trying everything from YouTube massages and facial exercises to multiple visits with neurologists who told me to simply "wait and heal". I was desperate for progress. Skeptical but hopeful, I turned to acupuncture. During my initial consultation, Henry took the time to explain his treatment plan in detail, including his experience treating other patients with Bell's Palsy. His confidence and knowledge gave me the reassurance I needed, and I committed to a 10-session plan. While I didn't notice major changes in the first few sessions, my family began to see subtle improvements after the third. Personally, I began noticing real progress around the fifth session. By the end of my first 10 sessions about five weeks in--I'd say I was roughly 50% recovered. Encouraged by the results, I signed up for another 10 sessions. Today, I completed my 20th session, and I'm thrilled to say I'm about 80% recovered. At this point, only I can tell that I ever had Bell's Palsy. I can't speak highly enough of Henry and his team. They are professional, compassionate, flexible with scheduling, and truly attentive to individual needs. Henry not only focused on my Bell's Palsy but also addressed other injuries I sustained in the accident. The environment he's created is calm and restorative. I often used the sessions as a chance to take much-needed afternoon naps. Acupuncture with Henry has been a transformative part of my recovery journey. I'm beyond grateful.
