Excellent doctors and professional staff. I recommend this clinic and like the idea of being in the Methodist system.

Thank gawd this phoney clip joint is closed and gone…read more They prescribed for me emergency gall bladder surgery after lying that I had gallbladder stones. A follow up trip to my doctor the next day and a sonogram showed them to be liars just trying to sell me expensive cat scans they would not state a price for. Total liars and medical fraud. Next day, all my records of the visit the night before magically vanished, which is clearly illegal. Do yourself a big favor and stay away from CHI St. Luke's for any medical needs.

We went here because it was the closest ER. Big, Expensive mistake…read more My son sprained his ankle, we wanted an X-ray just to make sure it wasn't broke since he couldn't walk on it without excruciating pain. We were in there for about an hour. First off, the lady at the check in desk didn't know how to do half the stuff and had to call for the nurse (big guy in black scrubs) to help her check us in. They looked at his ankle, asked questions, did the X-ray, wrapped his ankle in an ace bandage, gave him crutches and a liquid drinkable dose of Tylenol. ($75) told him it's just a sprained ankle and sent us on our way. I'll post the pictures of the bills I've received. A week later we went ahead and made a follow up appointment with an Ironman Orthopedic Dr in the woodlands (Dr Coupe- he's amazing!) . He gave us an air cast and we didn't receive another outrageous bill from them like we did with St Luke's ER. I'll break down the itemized charges from the ER in case you can't see the image well. The total bill was for $1742. Yup, for a sprained ankle... The bill came from 'CHI St. Luke's Emergency Health Center'. Breakdown: $1430. ER Moderate Service $227. Ankle X-ray $75. Tylenol Elixer - Codein (yes... you read that right) $10. Light compression band (ace bandage) My insurance made an adjustment of $-836. I paid $100. Copay at the time of service. So my final bill from the ER itself is now $805. For a sprained ankle. If you think you have a broken bone, Just go to an actual orthopedic dr... don't come here. I also received a separate bill from 'Medical Center Emergency Physicians' for the Dr's charges which were $590! My insurance made an adjustment of $494 so I have to pay $95 now. This was for Dr. Kevin J Schwechten. This is a totally reasonable price. I also received another bill from 'Hanger Clinic' for $28 for the crutches. -__- So please, only come here if you don't mind spending $75 on a single dose of Tylenol. Unless you're bleeding to death, go to a different ER.

The receptionist, who was both unprofessional and clearly unqualified to discuss medical issues, informed me the results "just came in" and proceeded to read them to me over the phone without any explanation or medical context. When I said my condition had worsened, she casually told me to keep taking the antibiotic. I asked to speak with a nurse -- I was told someone would call me. Hours later, I heard back from the same receptionist, not a nurse, who said they had called in a new antibiotic, again offering no explanation of what it was, why it was prescribed, or how it would help. They also sent it to the wrong pharmacy. It's important to note that receptionists are not medically licensed and should not be discussing or interpreting lab results, giving advice about prescriptions, or handling patient care decisions. This is not only completely unprofessional, but also potentially a violation of patient privacy laws and medical standards. This experience left me confused, untreated, and in tears during my workday. I strongly urge others to seek care from a facility with competent medical staff and proper patient communication. This clinic is a risk to anyone with a serious health concern.

The Bullocks are amazing! I highly recommend this father-daughter team and their associates…read more I saw Karen Brock, the nurse practitioner and midwife , to help me through my pregnancy. She is kind, funny and very efficient. I planned on delivering naturally so Karen was a logical choice. If any complications should arise, there are three doctors on the team to assist in any way. Come the day of delivery (New Year's Eve), Dr. Gerald Bullock was on call. So it was all go-time with him. He too is kind, funny and very efficient. Especially when I ended up having an unscheduled C-section. The nurses all complimented me on the neatness and how low my incision is. Yes- I am bikini ready! Just some notes: * I always got in quickly to see Karen. The only time I really had to wait was on my first visit. * These doctors are busy!! They are right next to the hospital and babies are always being born, so you might have to wait if your doc is out. For me this was not a big deal because I figured one day a patient will have to wait a little longer because I am the one who needs the doctor. * The office staff is very friendly. I only wish they would have called me a few times sooner to let me know Karen was helping with a delivery instead of having me wait in the office. * I did have complications after giving birth and felt guilty about making that 3 a.m. call, but glad I did. Meds were quickly called in for me to pick up and keep me out of the ER.

Gerald Bullock has been my doctor for years. He helped me through a tough miscarriage and was my…read moredoctor when I had my son. He is amazing, however his staff is not. The receptionist Heather and Lisa are amazing as well. I am currently going through a complicated pregnancy, and could not get an early appointment. So I called to speak to a nurse to get some understanding about my situation. Janice was very rude, unprofessional, and at a time asked me "what you mean", showing her lack of intelligence and ignorance. I spoke to her about my condition, my body showing signs of miscarriage and about me just being hospitalized. Janice said rudely that they didn't have an earlier appointment, and if they did I would have gotten one. Which is completely incorrect, in the event someone is miscarrying or showing signs of complications Dr. Bullock gets them in immediately. I know from experience. Attempting to still be calm I told her my concerns, and the statistics of something going wrong in my rare case. She very rudely said "where are you getting all of this from", that was it, I lost it. I have miscarried, I know the signs, I went to school for medical assisting, and am currently pursuing my nursing degree. I'm petrified of going through another miscarriage, I've been vomiting constantly, and I refuse to be belittled by a woman who can't even speak proper english in a professional environment. So she hangs up on me of course. So I call back in the hopes to get an understanding of my situation. I was transferred to a M.A. , and was very polite and calm. She answered with an attitude because of Janice, she did not allow me to ask any questions, she spoke over me, and told me all she could do was make me an appointment, which I already have. I was attempting to tell her my concerns and about the prior discussion I had with Janice. She said very rudely, I was sitting next to Janice while you were talking to her. Obviously only hearing Janice, and reiterating what Janice THOUGHT I was saying. Janice' s inability to properly process information is not my problem, and instead of hearing out my concerns and HELPING the M.A refused to even listen to me because of my discussion with Janice. So not only did I get hung up on once by Janice, I got hung up on by the M.A. I'm emotional, I'm sick, I'm weak, I'm unnerved about my complications. It's their job to help, instead of ganging up on a patient who is clearly already upset. I called to speak to the office manager and no call back. So unfortunately as much as I LOVE Dr. Bullock now I have to find a new Ob Gyn, due to his unprofessional staff and nurse. In my opinion if an individual can not put themselves aside to have a simple conversation and want to go further to bully a patient, they're in the wrong profession, and if they can't do their jobs they should not be employed. Furthermore if the M.A loses her job behind trying to coat-tail with Janice, is Janice going to provide financially for the M.A? I'm confused. So normally I would give Dr. Bullock 5stars, for this I'm only giving him two, and again this is sad. Dr. Bullock has been amazing, and I hate to lose him as my doctor.
