When I called the woman at the desk was impatient. She informed me I would not be seen for at least two months, the doctor would need all my records, review the records, and decide if he would take me as a patient. I tried to expedite my records by seeing how I could assist. She informed me they would get my records from my previous office. Since it's been over two weeks and no one has contacted me about a records release. I assume I should just keep shopping or take whatever kind of care i can get and hope for the best. That's healthcare in America.

I highly recommend her to any pregnant woman who wants a supportive doctor! She always listened to my concerns and my fears, and encouraged me that I could have a vaginal delivery if certain factors were right. She laid out from the start that I'd need an epidural regardless of delivery method just in case, which I totally understood. I ended up being hospitalized late in my pregnancy for PreE, on a weekend, when she wasn't on call, and she took the time on her vacation to call me at the hospital multiple times when she obviously could've only communicated with the on-call OB. But she actually called me, and once it was just to see how I was feeling. She came in first thing that Monday morning and was excited that she would still get to deliver the boys! I ended up needed a C section, but she did a fantastic job and made me feel like I was in good hands. Side note: we are an LGBT family, and she never missed a beat. She was caring and supportive and most of all, as a doctor, she was experienced and calm at every encounter. Even in a medically emergent situation right after delivery (hemorrhage), she handled it and put us at ease! Thank you Dr. B!
