This included walls, ceilings, baseboards, doors and even refinishing the kitchen cabinets. They were so easy to work with-- from the quote to scheduling the work and following up for touch ups. It couldn't have been easier which was surprising given the size of the project. They are bonded and insured and have a supervisor who manages the whole project end to end. The painting of everything turned out really well. The best part though by far was the kitchen cabinets. They were a very light oak color; nice cabinets but a bit outdated in terms of color. The team removed the doors, took them offsite to sand them down and spray them. They turned out perfect-- I get compliments on them all the time. They also refinished a stair banister and fireplace mantel. Both were painted black so these were no small jobs. We had these painted white as well and they turned out beautifully. Their prices were fair, their work was great and the overall project management couldn't have been better. I highly recommend Next Door.

During the process Daniel was quick to respond to questions before work started and he worked his schedule to accommodate our schedule. They cleaned up after every day. Most important, the work quality is top notch. The oil based painting on the cabinets is perfect. We kept adjusting what we thought we wanted done and Richard took everything in stride and patiently came out to the house multiple times to do various measurements to ensure an accurate quote. We thought all his quotes were incredibly fair. He was very easy to work with and he gave us some great advice throughout the process. Very honest. The quality of work was fantastic. His team of painters was always on time and very courteous. They took great care to protect our floors and furniture and were diligent about clean up. The paint job itself was done very well. We had them repair some drywall and some trim cracks, along with painting ceiling, trim and walls and it all looks fantastic. We couldn't be happier with the result and we will certainly be using ProTect Painters for any future projects in our home.

He's extremely pushy almost to the point of a bullying and does not listen to anything you ask.  I asked several times in text for a revised estimate, never received one.  the main job I brought him out for, he didn't include in his estimate, which was painting my house.

Spectrum was by far the most reasonably priced and could do the job the fastest. They painted all the kitchen cabinets, master bathroom cabinets, and guest bathroom cabinets white using primer and several coats of spray paint along with touching up the ceiling of our closet that the previous owner did not finish painting. Steve, the owner, was easy to work with and the painters who showed up were professional and left things clean. They taped over everything with plastic before they painted. The actual painting took about 3-4 days. After we did our inspection there were a few spots on the closet ceiling that needed touch up which Steve came himself to check up on. Since it was a weekend, Steve said his guys could not come in to finish the job until monday. However, to our surprise, he actually spent several hours touching up the paint himself until my parents were satisfied. Bottom line: affordable price, professional work and good customer service! I highly recommend Spectrum Painting to do your next paint job!

In every…read moreaspect of dealings with this company from initial contact through completion, the entire staff was very professional and clearly focused on providing a quality service. The crew showed up each day on time, put in a solid day of work, and was very friendly and respectful towards property and people. They were not an ever changing crew with high turnover like often experienced with some contractors, rather this team of guys had been with Spectrum for many years, and seemed genuinely concerned with doing a good job and ensuring long-term satisfaction and repeat business. They did not appear to take any shortcuts, and generally invested the time to do things right. At the end of the project, a survey was sent by mail to obtain feedback on the company's performance. Surprisingly, while there were a number of questions regarding satisfaction with the Estimator / Painting Crew / Office Staff, there were no questions whatsoever regarding satisfaction with the workmanship and paint job itself! There were a couple of aspects which could be improved upon. Generally the crew did a great job of masking the areas to be painted, but they ended up with a few small overspray spots (where the masking had gaps) on a couple light fixtures, and they painted over some copper flashing which should have remained unpainted. It also wasn't clearly communicated that the metal components attached to the house (railings) would not be repainted within the scope of the project. Overall, however, the quality of work was truly outstanding and among the best I've experienced. Although the price was in the upper range compared with other quotes received, it was well justified by the quality and professionalism demonstrated by this company. I highly recommend their service and would certainly look forward to working with them again.
