If I come across an article about some new drug or other health news that I'm interested in, I can send it to her and we'll discuss if it's right for me. When I go in for an appointment, she takes her time to listen and talk about my concerns. Truly, I give her my highest recommendation. She's a rare jewel in our crowded, chaotic health care system!

I reached out because I feared I may have contracted a very scary life-threatening medical issue- something that with better warning and follow up care on the part of her and a specialist, likely could have been prevented. When I got the diagnosis from Dr. Sari for the very thing I feared, I became understandably terrified, sad, and couldn't help but cry. I apologized for being upset and despite my own emotions, I felt it was important for me to give some feedback about why this diagnosis was extra upsetting to receive. I respectfully expressed that I felt I had been let down by her and the specialist for not being warned or given proper instruction to take a common OTC supplement that would've prevented this. While I was in tears because of the diagnosis, she quite literally scolded me over the phone because of this feedback. She deflected all responsibility onto the specialist, despite me reaching out to her to confirm the specialist's treatment plan was safe and well-informed for my situation- something I thought was a standard thing to expect of your primary care physician who has a more complete picture of your health history. She proceeded to have a complete emotional outburst and said some really nasty things to me, singling me out as a patient, and yelling over me as I tried to speak. I was completely stunned. Feeling very overwhelmed and upset by her argumentative confrontation in response to reasonable feedback, I tried to diffuse the situation by pleading with her, saying I didn't feel this was an appropriate time to do this, she had just given me a serious diagnosis. I had to get my tears together to reason with her and said "Dr. Sari, please I'm not trying to argue with you" - her exact words were "GOOD! THEN DONT!" Not to mention before the testing she said I could take an OTC med that, if I had the thing I was asking about, could've killed me. I'm glad I didn't take it, since my test was positive. While Dr. Sari is generally pleasant, it seems in times where it matters most, she lacks real compassion for people who are reasonably concerned about their health. I gave the same feedback to the specialist & he calmly and professionally heard my concern and agreed he should have mentioned the OTC supplement to prevent that diagnosis. Dr. Eitches' inability to remain compassionate and professional when giving someone a very scary diagnosis ensures I never want to receive bad news from her again. She made an already bad day so much worse, and I initially thought there must be something major going on in her personal life, surely she'll realize how inappropriate that was later, but she never reached out to apologize for how she handled that day. That says the most of all to me. I debated writing this review because she was so immediately reactionary I expect she might write a response implying (as she did while scolding me over the phone that day) that I was a difficult patient, in order to deflect from her completely inappropriate behavior. Before our call she already seemed to be annoyed that I emailed after hours when I became violently ill suddenly, despite me being told by her it's fine to call with questions and concerns during office hours and to email after hours- something I only did when I was genuinely concerned about my health & I very rightly was in this case. I said I was happy to make an appointment- my after hours email was just to get an initial read on whether my situation was life-threatening & get tested before a long holiday weekend where things would be closed. Maybe that makes me a difficult patient to a doctor like Dr. Eitches. But I'm writing this review ultimately because this has deeply affected me emotionally & made me avoidant of seeking out care. I will also be at higher risk of getting this issue again for the rest of my life. I don't want another potential patient to be the emotional punching bag for Dr. Sari, and be spoken to as if you're a bother, and a nuisance for being concerned about severe and sudden symptoms. It cost me $350 for the 15 minute phone call where I was dismissed, shamed and screamed at that day. A doctor is not just there to order tests or write prescriptions- especially one who doesn't accept insurance for "better care". How doctors listen to us and speak to us matters. Nothing will outweigh the bottom line- A doctor should never EVER talk to a patient the way she talked to me, let alone while in tears during a scary diagnosis. I had many good years with her like many reviews reflect but this is a real possibility of what you might get with her, as I did, completely unexpectedly. I recommend if you're on the fence, you seek out someone without any history of brazenly scolding a scared patient, with seemingly no remorse.

I really appreciate the care that doctor Lavi and his team have for their patients. He has been my primary doctor since 2013 and the only thing that I can say is that I'm so lucky that he is my doctor. God bless you

I keep it real and honest no bullshit .... The truth is a hard pill to swallow…read more. Wow reading some of the reviews so I'm not the only one who feels this way..... guess this has been an on going problem .. Nobody likes going to the doctor especially when you feel horrible and very sick. I always dread going here . And here's why. Dr Lavi "himself " is really great... He really knows how to treat you ....if you get to see him. The rest of some of his staff should all be fired . Bunch of clowns... Dr Lavi expects patients to respect his staff which I will always do but if a pattern continues then I will speak up.. Let me begin. Since I've been going there I've always been treated very poorly by the staff. There front desk staff is very rude treat you like shit have zero personality skills or seems to even care. Their demeanor is pathetic and all should not be working. At a doctors office . I even asked the male doctor with curly hair why is your front desk staff so rude. He said because they think everyone that comes in is entitled. I've never said hurry up or what's taken so long . It's a medical practice and things take time it was it is . So they already judge you just by walking in.. be very mindful and watch there behavior. It's not like any other medical clinic. To me It feels like they don't wanna be there. I thought this was a place I felt comfortable and safe , oh no! Ever since they posted the sign must wear a mask no exceptions. I've always been singled out While everyone else's doesn't have to ... and if you happen to forgot one they don't provide masks . You have to pay 10 dollars for one. Yep there's still more . I asked the staff why do you have a sign posted and in big letters no exceptions and my visit today. Nobody had a mask on.. the front desk rep replied we're not enforcing it today. So every other time that I've come in, with other people in the waiting room they only enforce it on me even if I'm not coughing . Backstory I was super sick a few weeks ago out of work struggling with money and they have the nerve to charge 40 dollars to fax papers , 3 papers with a signature and a few check marks in boxes that your able return to your work. I was upset and thought that was absolutely ridiculous with speaking to my insurance saying it's supposed to cover all coasts . . It's not illegal to do that but ethical when someone going through a hard time. Did I mention it was 40 dollars. !! Absolutely disgusting Then one of the so called nurses think it was Damien said arrogantly well it's only $40.00. I said it is coming out of your pocket, and he replied you work don't you ? I replied yes but I'm out of work right now and I'm obviously here so who are you to tell me it's only $40.00 what a real asshole. Very unprofessional to treat someone like that in the medical field.. a lot of times they'll have students there helping you out taking you into a room going over some information. I had a server cough virus ,And when you mention that you have anything extra , for me it was something very important a sever infection to be looked the student who takes you in r replies we'll see if we have time for it. Such a wonderful feeling place it go to and feel cared for. and supposedly someone more qualified comes in and goes over What's going on. The virus has to run its course so rest hydration, the basics to take care of yourself. About 2 weeks ago when I went to get the infection checked out it was healing, And the so called more qualified doctor recommended to see a wound specialist. but since going there about a month ago, I had to go to the ER and have the doctor drain it then the surgical team come out drain it even very painful packet go on antibiotics for a few weeks . . I'm thinking to myself why did the so-called doctor not refer me to a wound specialist from the beginning? It's very upsetting and disappointing think you'll get the proper care you need. Maybe look up the definition of certified versus qualified. Today I received a letter from the clinic a signed document by Dr Lavi that they let me go due to my behavior. My behavior was I was loud to the staff upset questioning how can you treat a patient like this for there quality of care . I never disrespected them with any fowl moth or behavior ... now I have to go find a new primary care doctor and that not always easy .....so here's my response letter , and personal experience review. they can go Fuck themselves....

I gave him a brief summary of the accident and his response was " I'm sorry that happened to you, we're gonna do our best to get you moving." I couldn't believe it, never once have I heard a physician tell me "i'm sorry that happened to you". I know it seems like a small or meaningless gesture, but at that moment I felt i was really being 'cared' for. Here we are, 5 months later and I'm well on the road to recovery. also, his office staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. They may seem "short" w people on the phone but if you take a moment to consider the amount of patients they process every day, you'll understand if they just have to be efficient. Once youre in the office, your healthcare needs will be met. I actually highly recommend Dr. Ben.
