Great service! House Favors went above and beyond expectations. They showed up on time and cleaned my house well!

Tee is a great barber and does great work. But I am big on integrity and keeping your word. Ive been taking my son to Tee for years and he's always done a great job. But when you tell me a price and then change it just because , is a bit shady to me and lacks integrity. I was quoted a price by Tee and then tried to book another appointment and was told "Oh the price went up". Mind you it's only fading the back because my son has dreads and lining up his front. So it's not the whole head just half the head. But I was told by him "On weekends and holidays the price goes up". Mind you my son always gets his hair cut on weekends and as far as holidays.. it was Valentine's Day he was referring to. So I was a bit took aback by this, since we have been going to him for so long. But I guess not everyone has integrity or knows that a man's word is all he has. I wanted to come back and update my review. The wife (Lauren) reached out to me to discuss my review. After going over the events of that day, she offered to come back and re-do the service. I agreed. Lauren returned and apologized again. She took her time, and the service was much better than the last visit. She appears to take pride in her work. I think they need to re-evaluate their pricing, or base it off of how dirty the house is. I believe they could really grow their business this way. I messaged them on Monday and they were quick to call me back. I was told that for the first visit they required a "deep clean". I asked about baseboards and they said it was an $20. I was fine with that. I was quoted $300 with tax if I pre-paid. I agreed and we booked the deep cleaning for Thursday. When Scotty arrived he told me his wife was sick and it would just be him. I offered to re-book if he needed to take care of her. He declined. He was here less than 2 hours for a "deep clean". The island or countertops were not touched and the baseboards didn't looked like they had been touched. The fridge wasn't wiped down and the counter around the stove wasn't cleaned. For $300 I'm extremely disappointed. I don't even think he changed out the water when he mopped the floors (my entire house is hardwood and tile in the bathroom). The shower door wasn't cleaned there was still soap scum on them. He offered to come back and clean it, but I had already cleaned everything he didn't. He did admit he "forgot to clean the countertops and island". He also offered 20% refund which I didn't decline or accept (but never received). I was extremely disappointed. read more
