I booked an 'end of tenancy' clean just before we moved out. Fresh and Clean took the payment and 2 cleaners turned up on time. So far so good. Neither of them seemed to barely speak a word of English, so communication was a problem, but I trusted they knew what they were doing so I thought that would be fine. I had the day off work so left them to it and went out for a few hours to give them the space they needed to work. I arrived just as they were finishing up and stayed out of the way until they were done. I noticed after they had left that a couple of things had been missed. But I decided to let it go and we had to leave for the evening. However, the next day as we were making final moving arrangements and having one last sweep round I noticed how bad a job had been done: - The fridge hadn't even been touched. I had to fully clean this inside and out myself. - I had upturned the mattress in the bedroom against the wall so that they could clean the carpet. I would have hoped the cleaners would have had the foresight to slide it across to clean the area underneath. But they didn't, so when I moved it that area of the carpet was discolored as it hadn't been cleaned. - Skirting boards hadn't been cleaned - Light shades were untouched and very dusty - Walls in the hallway were also not cleaned and very dusty - One of the corners of the bedroom was completely untouched As a result of this, myself and my partner had to do a mad sweep round of the property ourselves to clean up everything that was missed and do so in time for the estate agents arrived to carry out the check out. I was in contact over email for well over a week with Fresh & Clean, detailing everything that had been missed with photos. I was polite about it, but I would have expected a partial refund out of courtesy. I wasn't asking for much. But seeing as the service I paid for wasn't carried out I don't believe a small reimbursement would have been much to ask for. They consistently refused, and kept saying the best they could offer was sending out someone to do a reclean. I think this is a very clever, and quite sly offer because they must appreciate that most tenants would have left the property and so the service would be totally useless. It really shouldn't have been such a big deal to knock a fraction off of my fee. So poor customer service can also be added to the list. And to add insult to injury, they said the best they could offer me was a meager 10% discount on any future services from them. Like I'd ever give them anymore money after this terrible service. If I'd known it was going to be this bad I would have saved what was a great deal of money and both myself and my partner would have cleaned it ourselves. I appreciate this is a long message. But if you are reading this I would encourage you to AVOID.

I used to spend all of my Saturday cleaning up, washing, polishing, etc. and it was annoying me because I was using up half of my weekend on just making my home look acceptable. I was eager to see what they could do but was disappointed on the first occasion they came 10 minutes later.
