Now, they've raised the price to $39.99--a 33% increase on a product they manufacture themselves. This almost certainly reflects a response to demand rather than rising costs, given that individual gullets haven't increased in price. It seems like a case of, "We've sold out for two months straight--let's see how much more we can charge." Knowing this is their own product, the justification can't be higher supplier costs. It's frustrating to see this kind of price manipulation, especially when price gouging has been a topic of national attention.

Our dog was of old age, not eating, and lethargic. I was expecting that it was likely she was in the middle of passing away, which the team confirmed. The team put me in a room where I could talk with my family and make a decision with them (since I was dog sitting and everyone else was out of town). While the decision needed to be made quickly about next steps, they were empathetic and patient with us. We opted to put our girl to sleep; she was in a lot of suffering. He really isn't interested in eating - I think he might do that elsewhere - but he likes to hang around and sit next to me after his wife eats and runs. He is so skinny and the two of them look sort of pathetic. Globs in their fur, probably diseases and fleas - but I like them. Due to their upper respiratory disease I have to be carful with them and not introduce their problems to my cat - but I still help them out best I can. I give them wet food and dry and Lysine from here to help with allergies or the URI. Probably in the future i will TNR them as Mrs Meow looks worn out from having children with this guy. These are highly intelligent, deeply social animals that naturally live in large flocks, spending their days flying, playing, and interacting with one another. The "exotic pet" trade removes animals from the wild or breeds them for sale, often in poor and inhumane conditions. Many birds end up isolated, neglected, or abandoned once people realize how complex their needs actually are. The corella pictured here from this store was desperately reaching for affection through the cage bars. No sentient being should be treated as a product to buy and sell. Please stop selling animals. Instead, work with rescues to help the many birds already in need of homes, and support efforts to ultimatelyend the exotic pet trade.
