WOW! Tony and Sarah are the most responsible, attentive, loving, and dependable dog caretakers we…read morecould ever ask for. We've been clients for the last 4 years and highly recommend their services to anyone looking for help in taking care of their dog. They regularly go above and beyond what we'd expect and are very professional. Tony especially is such a joy to work with. He's always in an excellent mood when he drops by to pick up our pup for his daily walks. He's patient, understanding, and very gentle with our sometimes grumpy dog. It truly feels like we have family taking care of our pup. My only regret is that we didn't find Sarah and Tony sooner!

People often think dog walks and park outings are mainly for young, energetic dogs who need exercise. What we learned is that senior dogs benefit just as much. The gentle exercise, fresh air, routine, and especially the socialization with other older dogs who are their speed made a tremendous difference in Buddy's quality of life. Sarah and Tony cared for Buddy for the last several years of his life, not only as a regular dog walking client but also during overnight stays when our travel plans were a bit much for a little old man. We always knew he was loved, having a good time and well cared for. We were lucky to have five wonderful years with Buddy, and this team helped make those years even better. Their care, kindness, and genuine love for dogs showed in everything they did, right up to the very end. We are incredibly grateful they were part of our lives and part of Buddy's. We cannot recommend them highly enough.

This place was the perfect solution. The bathing stations are clean and well-maintained, and the staff are incredibly helpful. They walked us through how the bathing station worked and made sure we had everything we needed, including shampoo + conditioner, towels, aprons, scrubber, and ear-cleaning wipe. We really appreciated the portable staircase, which made it so much easier for a larger dog like Olaf to get into the tub. They gave us a small amount of treats to encourage Olaf to hop in, which definitely helped! This was only our second time bathing him ourselves, and the setup made the entire experience easy. They also have a separate drying room, and Olaf did well there too. We were also impressed by the huge selection of treats and chews. Olaf absolutely loved his spiral bully stick and is happily working on a bull pizzle. We had such a great experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean, well-equipped self-service dog wash with an amazing selection of treats. We'll definitely be back!

We found Good Dog via yelp, and we quickly understood the 5-star reviews that came before ours. Teal, Erik, and Yvonne are absolutely fabulous hoomans who clearly LOVE doggos. Teddy has so much fun with his friends! He comes home every day tired from all of his playing, but then can't wait to go back the next day. Good Dog makes it super easy for us by picking Teddy up and dropping him off at home, and we love the photos (both on Instagram and sent to our phones nearly every day). And their prices are super reasonable! In short -- if you have a doggo and need daycare, call Good Dog today!!!

This review is LONG over due. We got our Oban in 2020…read more After graduating puppy school at Smarty Pups, we thought it would be a good idea to continue socializing Oban through daycare. I did a fair amount of research via Yelp, but found Good Dog via Instagram. We met Erik and Teal for "testing" at their facilitating near the Alemany Market, and phew!, Oban passed. The facility is spacious, clean, and has an indoor and outdoor area. We started Oban with 3 days a week playcare. He is picked up between 10-11am and home between 4-5pm. He is exhausted by the time he gets home and we don't experience the witching hour that we do when he is home all day. Unlike off-leash plays at the beach, we are not concerned that Oban will bring home lbs of sand or worse off run away. You can tell that Teal, Erik, and Yvonne all love dogs and they take great care of all of the pups. Sometimes, our Oban sits and stares at the door waiting for one of them to come through and take him away to his happy place. We don't know whether to have hurt feelings, or feel joy because he is so happy to go there. When we were finally able to travel (COVID and all) we boarded Oban with Teal and Erik. They sent us daily pictures and updates about his well-being, and what he was doing. These people just plain love dogs and treat them well.

With her shock wave therapy, agility exercise routines, and acupuncture, his condition has improved from when we first started seeing her. We are very happy that he has been able to keep up our normal activity levels of two 30 minute walks per day. Prior to Dr. Flores, some vets were suggesting he get MRIs and back surgeries which of course is not what he needed. And the best part is she does the house visit out in Concord!

He is healthy and only needed a physical exam after I adopted him from a shelter. Dr. Dasho came to my home with his assistant and was very gentle and careful with my cat. He asked about his diet and genuinely seemed to care about his health. The appointment didn't last as long as I expected, which was nice. Unfortunately, I did have a serious concern about the way his assistant handled my cat. She may have still been training because she seemed inexperienced with handling cats. At one point, she picked up my adult cat by the back of his neck and held him in that position while Dr. Dasho examined him. This really worried me because my cat was clearly scared, and his eyes were dilated while he was being held that way. The correct way to pick up a cat is to use two hands and fully support their chest and legs. Mother cats pick their babies up by the neck to move them around until they're old enough to walk on their own. It was not appropriate to pick up and hold my adult cat this way during a routine exam. Seeing him so frightened was upsetting, especially when the whole reason I chose an in-home vet was to make the experience less stressful for him. I really liked Dr. Dasho and felt that he genuinely cared about my cat, but the way his assistant handled him left me very uncomfortable. Because of that experience, I don't think I would use Lotus Veterinary again.

My husband met her at Walter Haas and was…read moreimpressed by her attention and care to the dogs she was in charge of and asked her if she could take Mr. H on these playtimes. He was a puppy then and had (and still does have) a lot of energy. She was great about finding the right tools to reign his puppy-ness while still giving him a great work out. She takes the dogs to Walter Haas, Douglas, and Bernal. Patti always lets us know if there are issues we should be aware of (important to us as H is our first "child" and we want to know these kind of details). I feel like she's protective of her dogs and looks out for them, something we really appreciate as we take H to various SF parks a lot and seen dog walkers/owners that are not as attentive and the consequences, dog scuffles/ears bitten, not good. Before Patti agreed to take H on, I think we went through a trial period to make sure he was compatible with her other dogs. We found that really reassuring as we didn't want H with dogs that didn't get along with him and risks for doggy scuffles. Patti is also very flexible and responsible with schedules. I can send her e-mails/voicemails and she always gets back to me. She comes when she's supposed to and when there's any uncertainty regarding our schedule she confirms. Oh and whenever she takes a holiday (only once or twice that I can remember) she let us know way in advance. She takes her job seriously and is a professional. I can't say enough good things about her.

Patty has cared for my dog Ruggles - a mini doxie - for about 18 months now. He absolutely adores her. I trust Patty implicitly and know that Ruggles is in good hands when he is with her. In fact, last month, she was able to administer treatment to him when he had a seizure while in her care. And with me, Patty has been incredibly reliable and has had excellent communication skills. She has been available 99.9% of the time that I need her - and she has been able to keep track of my crazy schedule just fine. She has even been willing to go out of her way to pick Ruggles up from new locations from time to time. I really, really appreciate this woman!
