We have been boarding our dogs here for a good while now. Our dogs start going crazy before we even get there, it's one of their favorite places to go! The staff is the MOST AMAZING people. They love our dogs just as much as we do. We get daily pictures of our babies when they are boarding at Hounds Inn Lounge. They have never come home filthy and when we do opt for them to be bathed, they smell, look and feel so good! I wouldn't take our dogs anywhere else. There was one time that one of our boys wasn't feeling well and they offered to take him to the vet for us. Luckily we had just gotten home from vacation and I was able to go get him. Another time, we had to say goodbye to our sweet little girl. I let Hounds Inn know when we were scheduled to be at the vet, and three of the employees showed up in support of us and our Precious girl. They brought her a chocolate shake, which she absolutely LOVED! They sat with us during the entire visit. I couldn't stay in the room when the procedure began, but they stayed in there for me and made sure our girl was comfortable. I will never be able to repay them for the love and support they gave our family that day. They go above and beyond for their clients. This place is an answer to our prayers. Bosco is our only dog and we don't live close to any other dogs. He is protective of us and our property and we were afraid that he wouldn't socialize well with other dogs. The first time we took him to Hounds Inn they did a thorough evaluation observing him in various situations. I took him for day care several times times before leaving him overnight. The first time I left him overnight I asked for him to sleep in a Village Dog House( He is 110 lbs and the house was big enough for at least two of his size). This was mostly for my peace of mind. Since then he has been a free range customer. I have left him for half-day care and have left him for an 11 day vacation. When we get close to the parking lot he goes nuts. He loves being there and that thrills me. I've been so happy with his care each time. Everyone at Hounds Inn truly loves these dogs and they are so kind and helpful. We were so lucky to find them. We love Hounds Inn Lounge for our two fur kids! Both of mine are older dogs and special needs. My 14 year old JJ is blind and getting deaf. The younger dog, Remi had a spinal stroke (FCE) this year and was paralyzed from waist down, but is now walking but not completely recovered. We were very anxious about going on vacation and leaving our babies, but Hounds Inn made sure they got the attention they needed and were well cared for. They both seemed to have enjoyed their stay and the next time we took a short out of town trip, they were excited to be left there. We were getting ready to go on vacation for two weeks. The place we originally picked to take our 5 dogs to said our dogs were not able to stay because they were mean. It was their first time boarding and was scared. I called Hounds Inn Lounge and explained the situation. We set up a trial run and was reassured that we would pick them up the next morning. I picked them up the next morning and got photos of them that night. She sat with them all night to help them be comfortable. The next morning one of them wanted to stay because he tried to jump back out of the car. During our vacation, I got pictures daily and check ins. I will be taking them back for sure. read more

We absolutely love this place! They run around and play hard! Which is great for them! If you don't specify that you want a bath- then of course they won't smell fabulous! And as any boarding facility, stress diarrhea is always a possibility as well as kennel cough or any other upper respiratory issues! I believe we signed that in the paperwork before drop off! I am so thankful it is a requirement to have vaccines up to date before being able to drop off! Love love this place! The staff is fabulous! And they take great care of your babies! read more

Our Walter boy loves Hounds Inn! We try to book him in daycare at least once a week and when we take vacation this is where we board. We love the cage free option since that's what he knows at home. He knows when we're going as soon as we get close and lets us know how excited he is the whole way there. They send fun pictures during the day and we love getting to see him playing with all his friends. He is able to get his energy out and I know they are loving on my sweet boy. read more

My dogs go to daycare M-F and LOVE it. They start barking about a half mile down the road when they realize we are getting close. They also board there when we go out of town. We've boarded other places with our dogs, but they always seemed to come home stressed. When they board at HIL, they come home happy, they're tired but happy. I love the cage free daycare and boarding options. The staff knows my dogs well and love them like their own. We are customers for life. read more

Hounds Inn Lounge is my pup's favorite place to go play for the day! He absolutely loves the people, the other pups and the grounds. He is super anxious to get out the car when we drive up and he comes home happy. We have been pleased with all of the staff. They truly care for and love our dog. I recently moved from Alabama to Texas and I needed a place to take my Great Pyrenees to get a bath and boarding. I found Hounds Inn and it was a Godsend! We have boarded and done daycare here for a few years for our doodle, Bentley, and we love it! They are very accommodating to anything he needs and he loves going!!
