I found Taylor Veterinary Clinic about five years ago, right after moving to Kilgore, when my dog…read moresuddenly broke out in hives from East Texas allergies. I called multiple vets on a Sunday--TVC was the first to respond and got us in right away. I had no idea I was about to meet the best veterinary team I've used in 40+ years. Dr. Nick McClimon is instinctively in tune with his patients and always takes the time to explain what's going on, walk through treatment options, and give honest recommendations--with the pet's best interest front and center. His staff is equally impressive: kind, efficient, and highly competent, treating every animal like their own. Last year Dr. Noor Faisal joined the practice, and she's absolutely wonderful--knowledgeable, compassionate, and gentle with both animals and humans. Pricing is fair and transparent--no upselling, ever. I've lost two senior dogs in the last five years. The compassion they showed me, and the tenderness they showed my dogs, helped me through both heartbreaking moments. I'm deeply grateful to this clinic and recommend them without hesitation.

Everyone is smiling, friendly and shows a true concern and love for your furbaby. Dr. McClimon is excellent. Obviously very knowledgeable and has a great compassion for his patients. He makes me feel apart of the process. I highly recommend Taylor Vet Clinic!!!

I called this morning to get care for a very congested and very little stray kitten. Since we live…read morein the middle of nowhere...my daughter and myself think she is the surviving offspring of a cat we buried that had been hit in front of our house. After calling, we came in on stand-by as we were told they were pretty full, which was an understatement! Not only was there not much of a wait, but our doctor (I am ashamed to say I forgot her name) was extremely thorough, gentle and informative. I had guessed from her lack of food consumption that she was probably not weaned. Happy to report she sucked a little of the food we picked up from the animal hospital off my finger, and did not like it, nor did she want more. After trying several times, she got the gang of it and now she is willing to eat a small amount with a tiny bit of crushed kibble. She seems better this evening. The antibiotic shot and nutrition seems to be wrking. Thank you so much Henderson Animal Hospital for giving her a fighting chance. This is one of the many reasons our family pets vicariously, through their owners, have been faithful for over 30 years to Henderson Animal Hospital for care. Thank you so much, again. I called the clinic and they didn't have any openings for the next few days. By that evening, my cat was very wobbly on her legs, and I knew I needed to take her into the vet's as soon as they opened. By morning, she could not stand and could barely lift her head. I called the Henderson Animal Hospital and told them about my cat. They told me because I was not an established patient, I could bring the cat in and drop her off. They could not guarantee me the vet would see her, however. But they did say that if the vet had time to see her, an associate would call me later and tell me when to get her and what to do. I was told I would not be able to talk to the vet at all, but only the associate. I ended up driving back to Carthage and taking my pet in after a 10 minute wait. The vet looked her over and told me it was probably cancer, and we immediately ended her suffering. If I had waited and toil her to the. Henderson Animal care Hospital, who knows when or if she would've been seen and she may have died all alone and in pain. I would never take any animal I care about to this cold, unempathetic place.
