I was curious what Body20 was all about, so I signed up for the free demo online and came to the…read moretemporary location next to Tropical Smoothie Cafe in the morning on a Thursday. The man that helped me out with my demo was super enthusiastic and pumped to tell me all about Body20. Basically, it is a suit you put on with different points all over your body that provide electrical contractions while you work out a simple routine. There are no weights involved, only your body and the suit. When he turned on the suit and raised the pressure, it was a vibration, almost an electrical current pulsing on my arms, since we were focusing on an arm routine. You have 8 seconds on, 8 seconds off, and the whole routine lasts about 20 minutes, alternating between biceps, triceps, and laterals. It seemed pretty easy to me, but afterwards my arms felt sore like I had worked out at the gym! The pricing for the popular package is around $225/month with no monthly contract, or you can do a monthly contract. Right now if you invite four people to join, your membership fee gets waived. Their new space is going to be opening next to Salsas, and they are excited to offer an alternative option to the gym in the area. If you are as curious as I was, set up a free demo and check them out.

I went around 5pm on a Wednesday and although it was peak gym hours, the facility was packed with members but didn't feel crowded at all. Initially, the team member at the desk did not ask me if I needed help so I had to stand around for a bit. She seemed new and unsure what to do with someone like myself, looking to try a new gym and just wanting more info. Eventually another, more experienced team member gave me tour of the facility and I loved all the areas available to workout, the sauna, the recovery area, and how clean the entire gym was. As packed as the gym was, she also greeted multiple members by name, which I thought was really nice. I am excited to continue my 7 day trial at Chuze, but my initial thoughts are overwhelmingly positive!

I truly loved my time there over the last couple of years. Starting over at a new gym/location can feel a smidge awkward (with any change), but the transition has been way smoother than I expected and everyone at Nocatee has been super welcoming from the start. The gym is always bright & cheery, clean, the classes push you in the best way, and the community atmosphere is still very much there. I've really loved getting to know the new trainers and new work out crew. It already feels familiar walking in, which was the best surprise given it's my first week. Very grateful to still have a place that keeps me motivated and makes showing up feel so easy. The crew lifts pretty heavy here which is amazing motivation to reset my personal goals and raise the bar. Cheers to a new start!
