    Everything I want in a gym. I prefer to go during off-hours when I pretty much have the place to…read moremyself and I can use the equipment at my leisure. Its not the biggest or fanciest gym, but it has everything I need for a complete workout, from cardio to kettlebells. Ambience: CLEAN. No sweaty-musty smells or overflowing trash cans to be found. There's a convenient water-bottle fill station, immaculately clean bathrooms and a shower with the kind of hot, steamy water that's needed after a rigorous workout. Membership pricing is also an added benefit at only $22 a month (Ive been a member for over a year, so Im not sure about current pricing), and the staff are all very warm, welcoming and helpful with any questions. We had a contract for 1 year of training sessions and canceled when the year was up but continued to be billed every 2 weeks. We disputed the charges and had our CC replaced with a new one and somehow were still charged. After contact with the area supervisor , we finally got confirmation of the cancellation After 2 month. Fortunately our membership is paid through our MCARE supplement, so no worry that they would keep charging us if we decide to no longer be a member. Beware when you sign and give them your CC.

    For many months, I'd been struggling with chronic lower back pain. I was getting chiropractic…read moreadjustments, doing rehab, and finally had to get a cortisone shot to put the constant pain at ease for a moment. It was the one thing I was trying to avoid, as I do my best to heal naturally and without meds when I'm hurt. I told myself that I would do it anyways with the intention of going back to a gym after the shot and strengthening my core so I can avoid this pain even after the shot wears off. I needed guidance, though. I have learned from the many years of doing any kind of exercise on a solo basis wasn't doing the job. Either I wasn't motivated enough to push myself hard enough or I wasn't aware of the bad form I was using or I was just doing exercises that would exacerbate my back and knee issues. I did a lot of research, as I do, and thankfully found this gem (get it?) Colin got in touch with me and I mentioned my health concerns ad nauseum. He made me feel very comfortable and confident that I could do this program while also preventing future injuries. The first week was rough. I thought I was still somewhat fit, but was slapped in the face with reality. I was determined at age 39 to get in better shape so that I avoided my back issues in the future. That first month took a lot mentally and physically, but the coaches were there the whole way to help when I had questions or concerns with any particular exercise. They alternate metabolic and strength training days from Mon-Sat and have several classes each day. The classes are going to involve a lot of body weight training combined with some free weights. You will be active 95-100% of the 45 minute class. They stress, constantly, the importance of using correct form which is an absolute must in keeping your joints protected. Fast forward nearly 7 months and I'm absolutely sure that I made the right choice here. Owners/Coaches Colin and Adam are exceptionally committed to their community and to your health. They check on you outside of the class and provide helpful tips in whatever you might be struggling with. Part-time Coaches Jillian and Brian are pretty amazing as well. You won't be disappointed with the people here. My previous constant back pain is gone and I'm feeling stronger every month. I could not recommend this place enough and I look forward to further growth as I continue my journey with TFW.

    I began my journey at TFW Julington Creek back in November. At the time of joining I weighed 286…read morelbs. I felt lethargic, wanting to nap every afternoon. I ate terribly and felt miserable all the time. I was a pre-diabetic. My blood pressure was elevated. I knew I needed change. Then I met Coach Adam, Colin and Jake. Coach Adam sat down with me and we went through nutrition, eating habits, goal plan & more. I was nearly 26% body fat. The first week was tough. The practices are meant to push you. The coaches encouraged me to go further while helping me know my limits. 6 months later I can say I never expected to be where I am today. I've had to buy all new clothes. I'm eating better than ever before. I'm NO LONGER Pre-Diabetic and my blood pressure is normal. I have dropped 61 pounds while gaining muscle weight and dropping fat. I am now at 13% body fat and watching it all disappear. IF YOU want change in your life for the better, join us at TFW. It's the real deal.
