In particular, I recently finished a four-week weightlifting personal training program with Coach Uly (Ulyses) to fix some bad habits on my snatch movement. We went back to the basics, he identified where I was going wrong, and helped me to be able to identify my errors by muscle memory (the most important part) so I could catch myself in the future. I PR'd my snatch balance movement during our last session and am currently building strength to attempt a new squat snatch PR soon :)

I want to address the review from R.B. as a member of Hyperactive…read more For the last couple years as a member I never had issues with Jesse, always felt that I can go talk to him about any issues and there is many of us that would agree. The workouts are challenging but they aren't repetitive, we do same or different movements but the rounds, the time, the reps is not the same, all work outs are different on a daily biases. When he cancels a Saturday class its either because work is being done at the gym or another valid situation, not Just because he doesn't want to coach. That's crazy to even think that its just because he doesn't want to coach. Prices have gone up, but so has prices everywhere. If the prices didn't go up we wouldn't have a gym, and that's 100% facts. Go and check out other gyms and see how much they charge and they you will be appreciative of how much we pay. If you are having those issues with members hitting on you, defiantly speak to Jesse, he will nip it in the ass quick. Don't assume things. You are right the Facility is nice and the Community is awesome, But how do you write that after bashing this man's business and persona. We are a family and large community here, if your issues are with him, address them and ask to speak to him. Not come out and bash him, that not cool. I am a busy working mom that has no time to train in the afternoons and evenings. His early morning workout schedule works perfectly for me. I started with little to no experience in lifting weights, interval training and martial arts. Despite training as a group, he was very accommodating and adjusted exercises to my limited abilities. His workouts are challenging but he knows how to push me without pushing me over the edge. I honestly didn't care for his combat cross-training class which I would skip from time to time. But now I'm totally addicted to it - especially when we train boxing! Since training with Art I've lost a total of 20 lbs. I'm stronger and more energetic than ever. Poor food choices have been my weakness all my life. However, with Art's guidance I have started to make healthier changes to my nutrition. The great results I'm seeing in my fitness tests along with the awesome members I train with have inspired me to make permanent changes to my lifestyle. I would recommend training at United Strength and Conditioning to anyone. If you've been struggling for results and are in need of some spark in your workout then I wouldn't hesitate to join the team.

I like United Strength And conditioning because I'm getting the exercise I need early in the morning so my day already feels accomplished, class size is small, and I'm getting the right amount of push to watch my diet.
