There is a lot of competition out there, if you charge a lot, you should offer a lot more. Sometimes we have to get creative with weights if everyone in your group uses the same amount as you. The carpet is dirty. I hated doing exercises that brought me to the ground because it may get vacuumed but needs shampooing with all the feet and sweat. Grosses me out honestly. No social media presence. I do think if you advertised classes more then you'd have more interest. Advertising a word of the week felt silly rather than inspiring. The app never had the right coaches listed. Not a big deal but this was over 50% of the time where the actual coach was not the one listed. I hate the stretch routine. Why stretch my legs for 4 weeks when you do arms, core, cardio, etc. Most of the time, no one actually did what was written. I saw a lot of awful form but the stations go so fast, not really an opportunity to correct it. Depending on your group, people didn't interact with each other much so I kept to myself. I also would've liked more variety than just arms and legs, upper lower or push pull kind of rotations.

Ok, I signed up for a free session outside of Lululemon in the San Tan Mall while shopping a few…read moreweeks back and ended up winning a cup in the process. Yoohoo! I received a notification that I won a free session and decided to act on it as I realize that I'm out of shape and that, Although, I'm a yogi! That yoga is good for stretching the muscles and keeping the mind free of negative energy which Iwill continue. ‍ On appointment day: I drive back to the location where I signed up at, thinking that, my classes were going to be held here but, it didn't take long for me to find that the real studio was actually across the street from the San Tall mall. After calling to ask where everyone was Upon arrival of the new and correct location, which is in a up and coming outdoor strip mall, I noticed how nice Serena is. (FRONT DESK) Serena has a great spirit and professional attitude!!! She, not only, is very nice, she's the reason why I decided to act on the invitation because of her good vibes! She explained to me the rates, process and gave me a tour of the facility. Serena gathered all of my materials id be using from the supply cabinet and set me up on my machine that I would be using. She does a wonderful job at explaining everything and deserves a raise!!! She's your money maker for sure!!! She doesn't pressure you, which makes you want to join. There's nothing like a person who tells you about the business and let's you simmer it in, and think about joining. Serena is the BOMB!!! Side note: I hate pressure sales people(I also did sales for years so I know what it takes to be a top sales person and she has that nitch) as it only makes you want to join in which you end up canceling because you didn't have a chance to really think about it. Serena made it easy, free and flowing SO IF I were to have JOINED I'D STAY because of her love for working there and passion that spills off to being there! The vibes were great! Ok, enough praise for Serena who is a ROCKSTAR! Ashley, our instructor did a great job at pushing me to my potential and by not adding to much pressure, which is a plus! I loved hlAshleys approach while facilitating the class. The workout was intense for first time visit, (on me) but, because I was able to go at my own pace it still hurt. I hurt like hell hours later as my bones felt all of it but, I'm glad that I was able to participate. Sheesh I'm really out of shape! The cons: The music choice should be a mixture of different genres to get that strive even more appealing! I didn't like that Ashley asked me where else do I go to workout and when I mentioned another establishment, she told me that, she was the GM OF IT AND that the establishment closed down! The only reason why I was opposed to this misinformation is because the establishment is a place I was recently at and they only closed down temporarily and not closed down entirely!! Horrible execution at trying to gain my business This type of misinformation is unwarranted and could cause damage to establishments when the wrong information is passed on. Misinformation passed on, about any establishment is a bad rumor to relay. Whenever you ask someone where they work, shop or is an attendee at, it's best to shut your mouth before giving out false information. If came off as a bitter EX "GM" NOT COOL!!! Sometimes it's good to knod and smile! Js‍‍ This method of trying to pitch membership is a turn off to be honest and although Serena had me ready to sign up, Ashley's method completely lost me as an future candidate for joining. In going forward ,I still recommend this gym for a work out as it's s worth it, if you're into finding the perfect setting, location and vibe. Ashley did a good job otherwise, but just needs to be mindful to never slander an ex employer. You've moved on... don't look back! Leave in peace! Character speaks volumes!!! There's plenty of free parking here and healthy food store, restaurants and other work out spots as well....I still recommend STRIDE though. I liked the less than 20 machines and class which gives it a better vibe. Good luck to this location as they continue to grow! Thanks for having me! Please do not swarm me with future emails and invites though. Lol

They are very helpful and make sure you're doing the exercises correctly. They also change it up all the time so that you're not bored or doing the same thing over and over. It's a good HIIT workout, and I always burn at least 300 calories in the 40 minutes of exercise, which is great by my standards. I would have given this place 5 stars, but then something happened (I thought about 3 stars but thats not fair to the rest of the employees). Toward the end of my 2 week trial, I took a look at my finances and even with the discount, it just wasn't doable. This place is expensive (more than other HIIT gyms Ive been to in the past) and being that I am not rich, I just can't make it work with upcoming bills, car repairs and everything else I have going on. When I called and spoke to Sunny, I explained to her that I unfortunately needed to cancel for now. She asked for any feedback for the program and I told her LOVE the classes, but I just can't afford it. She then said, in an incredibly rude tone, "did you know that before you signed up to take our free classes or did you just figure that out now?" Honestly I was shocked. It was so rude, it really hurt my feelings and it felt like she was accusing me of being a scammer or something. I would hate for anyone else to feel this way should they have to cancel. Also because of this I will not ever return, even if I could afford it. It was unbelievably rude. I shouldn't be made to feel bad for giving something a shot and just not being able to afford it. Guess I should have lied and said I hated it or something.

While they were at the front desk, I was on the phone with the employee assisting them, Gideon. Instead of clearly explaining policies, he questioned a legal guardianship situation and actually asked me, "Aren't you the parent?" and challenged how an 18-year-old could be a legal guardian. That is completely out of line. There are many legitimate situations where a guardian is not a parent including serious circumstances like terminal illness. It is not a front desk employee's place to question or challenge that over the phone or at all. Rather than providing clear guidance, Gideon gave inconsistent and confusing information about minor memberships and guest policies. The situation was then steered into requiring two separate memberships one for the 18-year-old and one for the 15-year-old which was not clearly explained upfront. This felt like unnecessary upselling driven by confusion rather than transparency. What should have been a straightforward signup became stressful and uncomfortable for both of my kids. Instead of escalating to a manager or handling it professionally, the situation was made worse. I would not recommend this location. If your situation is anything outside of a basic setup, expect confusion, pressure to purchase more than necessary, and a lack of professionalism.
