I've been coming here for over a month now, and I've consistently felt welcomed and encouraged by every instructor. I will note that each instructor has their own teaching style and slight variations in how they run their classes, but they all clearly have your best interests in mind. The classes are HOT, hotter than a lot of other studios in the area. If you're not looking for a challenge, this might not be the place for you. If I had to recommend one class, I'd recommend trying out the Sunday class with Maria. She's awesome, and the class always forces me to get up on a Sunday morning. The studio is very clean and well maintained. The women's locker room has plenty of space and showers, which come in handy after sweating it out in class. Be sure to bring your own mat, a full sized towel, and plenty of water. If you forget anything, they usually have some available.

Neighborhood gem…read more Popped in for a few classes with Jose and Jessica...their instruction is subtle and you don't feel like you're getting yelled at while practicing your peace. Space is intimate and hidden in a shopping center. Bought a class pack and noticed they are expanding their services by adding a hot hiit class and a hot Pilates too. Yay! Jessica also makes fresh juice! Can't wait to put an order in soon. *the only reservation I have is for the studio members. BE QUIET IN THE HOT ROOM BEFORE CLASS. For real. You don't know what someone is going thru, processing and why they are there trying to meditate in silence. Posting a "Keep conversations out of the hot room is respectful to all yogi's" should be posted. But seriously y'all, no one needs to hear about weekend plans, where you are for lunch, etc. it's rude and defeats the purpose of someone coming in early to be within self.

All the instructors are extremely knowledgeable and very helpful throughout each series of movements. The space is clean, beautiful, and easy to access. I appreciate the small, intimate class sizes, as they allow for more personal attention and guidance. In my opinion, the best part about this studio is the variety of classes available, catering to different levels and experiences. My first class was a prenatal series, which I thoroughly enjoyed, and it made me feel welcomed into the studio community. The best part is the owner she is extremely knowledgeable and personable but most of all informative, always attuned to the individual needs of each class, and is just a wealth of knowledge of her pilates expertise. From Profesional ballet dancers to new moms this class. I've seen an older community of women who were so strong and ushered me in to challenging movements alongside given such encouragement. The only draw back I wish there were more class times for mommas I just can't get enough..

I have prior Pilates experience (barre/reformer/chair/mat) and girlfriend had none, but picked things up quickly. I think Eurona did a really good job of keeping me challenged as well as focused on technique, while giving my gf the cuing she needed to understand the movements. The studio itself is tucked away in an office park off of rt 29. Actually, if you take the hot lanes on 495 (like I did) to get there the rt 29 exit drops you off almost exactly where you need to be. Epiphany Pilates offers a variety of classes; mat (levels 1-3), reformer (privates and duets), yoga and bootybarre. So there is something for everyone. They have a large open studio space for the group classes and then two smaller rooms for privates. I like the studio set up; this way, you don't feel like you are interrupting anyone's session. I enjoyed my time at Epiphany Pilates, I would recommend the private sessions to anyone wanting to learn more about form and technique. I am also interested in going back for some bootybarre. Eurona clearly has a passion for what she does, and her studio is reflection of that.

I met the GM who knew who I was by name (guess because I'm new to the location) and she was very friendly. I took Sculpt and Flow with Julie. It was a challenging class but felt very barre-inspired. She recommended medium weights for the entire workout. At a few points, because I'm focused on strength, I did things to make moves my own. Of all the Sculpt & Flow classes I've taken where they open with "this is not yoga with weights," this one felt most like yoga with weights. It was a good class but different from the format at my favorite location. Not in a bad way, just different. The music was okay. There were a couple cute pop bops but nothing that hyped me up. They use disposable wipes here, too, which was different for me. My only real complaint here was the situation with the lights. I LOVE the strategic use of different colored lights for the warm up, WERK, and cool down. We had the boring regular lights in class the entire time until the cool down. Anyway, I'd consider coming back. Out of other NOVA locations, this would be ranked number three out of four for me based on the class but that is really all according to preference and the format you like best. I'd def recommend checking it out!

I even drive 45 minutes after work to get here (it's that good)! The instructors are unparalleled- making class engaging throughout (especially the sculpt classes)! The manager, Jami, and the receptionist team are very welcoming and are happy to answer any questions you have. They have classes for every level- and encourage modifications and making the class align with your specific needs. They offer Sculpt & Flow classes (strength training), Signature Hot, Power, Restore, Slow Flow, Mix, Mobility, and 101 classes. They've also been offering themed classes, which are so much fun, and clinics- which I have yet to try but hope to soon! Located in the Burke Centre Shopping Center with plenty of free parking. If you're looking to add to your fitness or recovery journey, consider trying out YogaSix Burke!
