This hotel is a great place to stay if you are visiting Venice. It's close enough to the famed city but far enough from all the crowds. My visit here was in November and I was so happy that I found this particular overnight abode. The price for one night was more than reasonable and the accommodations were perfect for what I was looking for. First off it is a very small hotel. It has a quaint lobby, tiny elevator, and even tinier hallways but it makes up for it in hospitality. It seems to be a family owned business based on my impressions of the people that worked there. The gentleman who greeted us at the front desk was there from the afternoon when we arrived, overnight, and eventually into the morning when a lady, who I presume is the wife, took over. She was very friendly and welcoming, always with a warm smile, and even served us breakfast in this rather large dining room. It felt as if we were guests at someones house and not a hotel.
Okay so let's talk about the rooms then. As I've said it is a small hotel so the rooms are on the smaller side but it was perfect for a place to rest after a long day of sightseeing. The beds were super comfortable to sleep in. The recently renovated bathrooms were pristine and modern, and the in-room safe was very convenient to store passports while you go out and about exploring Venice. The breakfast in the morning had a reasonable choice of food and more importantly was delicious. I couldn't ask for a more pleasant stay.
P.S. They have a small parking lot in the back if you happen to drive there with a rental car which is a blessing. It's monitored by a camera and well lit so you know your precious rental is safe. Another plus! read more
