We stayed at this hotel on July 20th and woke up at 1am attacked by a swarm of bed bugs. I have bites everywhere. To our horror, we went downstairs to reception to report this incident and ask for a different room. Reception at this hotel is not 24/7, they are barely there for a 4-5 hours a day. The reception here is shared with another hotel they own down the street and it's some random Romanian guy that doesn't speak English or French but maybe a little German? Anyways, we tried several numbers and could not reach anybody for at least 10-20 minutes. Then, his sleepy self finally was able to pick up the phone, he unhappily changed our rooms without a "Sorry for the bed bugs" and that was it. The next day we asked for a refund or some type of compensation and the reception said they are not authorized to make these sort of actions and for us to e-mail booking and they will tell their boss. It has been 5 days, we have called and we have e-mailed and nobody has responded. No compensation or act of responsibility has been taken by this hotel and therefore DO NOT STAY HERE. It's one thing to make a mistaken and make reprimands for it, it's another thing to make a mistake and then ignore your customers!
By the way, I have 10+ bug bites all over my body and am SO ITCHY everywhere. read more
