We dined at the Hotel Anna restaurant twice during our stay in the Ramstein area. A parking lot is…read morelocated right outside the restaurant door. The restaurant includes a bar area, a dining room and an outdoor area open in warm weather. At our first visit we had the dining room to ourselves in early December. A woman came from the back (kitchen?) greeted us, showed us to our table, asked if we'd been there before and had a chat with us about the menu. According to our hostess/waitress, they are known by locals for their pizza and burgers. We tried schnitzel, pizza, salad and a burger over our two visits. The food makes you think of home cooked meals. Good, basic fare which is nice when you are away from home. The pizza does not remind me at all of the style you get in Italy as another reviewer noted, but it is a tasty pizza. The burger is tasty with fresh lettuce, tomato and onion, the fries are fluffy and tasty. Ingredients are fresh and the portion size just right. Plenty to fill you up. They have a full bar, wine and beer plus soft drinks and coffee. A drink made with Ice cream and coffee seems to be 'a big deal' right now in Germany and the Hotel Anna restaurant has you covered if interested. The dining room is very nice with lots of plants and soft lighting, table cloth covered tables set with sturdy flat ware. The woman taking care of us was very attentive and we had some nice conversations with her. This is a good option if you are looking for a nice dining room experience without fussy food. Good for a date or a family.

We were able to check in and pay whenever we arrived. The room is VERY comfortable and homey! I felt like I walked into a master bedroom at someone else's house and that's where I was staying for the night! Ha! The owner does have cats in her place, they're not in the rooms or anything, so if you have a severe allergy to cats I'd avoid. The restaurant part of the hotel doesn't open up for breakfast however we were given a discount coupon for a place just right down the road from the hotel. Also the military airbase is just down the street. If you walk through the seating area to the right of the entrance in the parking lot you'll get to the entrance of the hotel. Oh also, parking was free!!

The lobby and breakfast room are elegantly decorated. Tile floors throughout the hotel with area rugs in public areas. Front doors are locked at 9:30 and guests are given an access code to the after hours entrance. Wifi service is included and was excellent throughout our visit. The rooms, lobby and breakfast rooms are warm, however the hallways can be a bit chilly. The hotel does have an elevator. The breakfast table is beautifully set and the food plentiful. Toast, pastry, croissants, rolls, cold cuts, cheese, cucumber, tomato, scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage, cold cereals, yogurt and fresh fruits. Plenty of condiments like hot sauce, honey, jam, nutella, cream cheese and butter. That little crock on your table is for the wrappers from these single serve items. Choose your coffee type from a machine: espresso, cappuccino, latte, etc. The coffee is strong. Plenty of space in the rooms. Good size work area, small bathroom is big enough, with towel bar over the heater and a long shelf to store your items. Towels are big, soft and absorbent. As is standard in Germany, there are no wash clothes so bring a loofah. Shampoo and shower gel is mounted in the small shower as is a soap dish. TP is pretty standard German paper-not the same as you may be used to. Housekeeping does a light cleaning daily. Two pair of guest slippers were next to the bed. Two cups, plates and silverware are located near the microwave. A small play area is located at the end of the car park. Hallway lights turn on and off with movement. Put your room key tag in the plastic slot by the door to turn on the room electricity. Bathroom and overhead light switches are in this same area by the door. Plenty of hangers and shelves. Iron and board in closet area. Wooden window shutters roll down instead of drapes. Cord to open/close is on one side. Just pull.

There are…read morelots of public areas throughout the hotel hallways and stairways and a very good restaurant accessible from inside or out. Reception is manned between breakfast and 10pm. If no one is there, ring the bell. They have a small elevator that is in service while reception is open. After that, it is stairs only. They keep a pot of coffee and some cookies by reception while open as well. The room is clean. Each guest has their own duvet and the room is plenty warm - we kept the window open much of our visit. It is near train tracks, but that didn't create much noise. The furniture looks custom made to fit the room, has been painted a couple of times and shows wear, but the mattress was comfortable and linens suitable to the price point. A small TV and refrigerator are by the window, a small desk area next to the bed and two chairs. Light switches for overhead lights and bedside lights are over the headboard. Very convenient. Bathroom includes a stand-up shower and a small shelf over the toilet but no hook for clothes or racks to dry towels. We hung towels in the closet area. Water pressure and temperature are good. Daily housekeeping kept everything clean, but we had to ask every day for a 2nd wash cloth. Breakfast is traditional with plenty of cheese, cold cuts, breads, cereal, yogurt with the addition of American coffee roasted locally which is quite good (and for sale), teas, cocoa, scrambled eggs, sausage and potatoes. Quite a full breakfast. Pancakes were also available one morning. Parking is available on site. A small microwave is available in one of the public areas. One washer and one dryer is available in an out building, next to the garage. Tokens are €2: you need one for the wash, and one to dry. The European size machine fit a couple of pants, socks, a few shirts and pj's. Enough for 2 or three days of clothes. This location offers rooms and short term apartments. The family own a number of properties including Big Emma's restaurant and the hotel at that location so plenty of experience. We really cannot say enought good things about the staff here. We would stay again.

Whole room looked and smelled clean and crisp. Thick walls (and/or no neighbors) made for total silence. Our checkin was very pleasant and he offered us each a bottle of water. Breakfast looked good but we did not partake as it was not included with our stay (10€ pp) and we weren't very hungry.
