Today I ate in the restaurant and told the Croatian waiter that we were with the airline and would like to exercise our 19% discount. He said OK but told us we needed to pay cash in order to get the discount which we agreed to do. When we received our bills, we noticed that we didn't get our discount and then when confronted on it, he said oh you needed to tell me when you first sat down to which I said to him that is one of the first things I said to you and you said no problem, Omni, Kalitta and Atlas get the discount. This is the last time I'll eat in the restaurant as food is very expensive for what you get and I'm not getting any discounts, so why even bother? The Wi-Fi is very slow. I cannot do my assignments for my recurrent ground school because it's too damn slow. I have two tiny beds pushed together and they called that one bed. The bed is way too hard even with it extra padding on it. The aviation themed bar and restaurant is cool, but it sure would be nice to get a discount. We spent our whole per diem on one meal without including alcohol. No crew room and no amenities ! The worst crew hotel for us in Europe

Water pressure is excellent, and water can get very hot.

The restaurant area is lovely with lots of sun and brightness and live plants. The staff is equally charming and my service was always friendly and fast. The food was excellent as well. They serve a great brekkie and I also had late lunch there on Sunday. BTW the soups are fab! Loved the restaurant, I Just wish it was open later in the day to grab a beer end of the day. I'm suspecting this is a seasonal thing. The only real issue I had was with the shower and sink. I noted the sink was very slow to drain but it never got addressed and my shower doors never quite met to close. Also, and other reviews have noted this, the soap dispenser in the shower is not actually attached to its bracket and kept falling off the wall while I was trying to use it. I'll stay here again for sure! Great spot, great people.

The lobby and breakfast room are elegantly decorated. Tile floors throughout the hotel with area rugs in public areas. Front doors are locked at 9:30 and guests are given an access code to the after hours entrance. Wifi service is included and was excellent throughout our visit. The rooms, lobby and breakfast rooms are warm, however the hallways can be a bit chilly. The hotel does have an elevator. The breakfast table is beautifully set and the food plentiful. Toast, pastry, croissants, rolls, cold cuts, cheese, cucumber, tomato, scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage, cold cereals, yogurt and fresh fruits. Plenty of condiments like hot sauce, honey, jam, nutella, cream cheese and butter. That little crock on your table is for the wrappers from these single serve items. Choose your coffee type from a machine: espresso, cappuccino, latte, etc. The coffee is strong. Plenty of space in the rooms. Good size work area, small bathroom is big enough, with towel bar over the heater and a long shelf to store your items. Towels are big, soft and absorbent. As is standard in Germany, there are no wash clothes so bring a loofah. Shampoo and shower gel is mounted in the small shower as is a soap dish. TP is pretty standard German paper-not the same as you may be used to. Housekeeping does a light cleaning daily. Two pair of guest slippers were next to the bed. Two cups, plates and silverware are located near the microwave. A small play area is located at the end of the car park. Hallway lights turn on and off with movement. Put your room key tag in the plastic slot by the door to turn on the room electricity. Bathroom and overhead light switches are in this same area by the door. Plenty of hangers and shelves. Iron and board in closet area. Wooden window shutters roll down instead of drapes. Cord to open/close is on one side. Just pull.

The restaurant includes a bar area, a dining room and an outdoor area open in warm weather. At our first visit we had the dining room to ourselves in early December. A woman came from the back (kitchen?) greeted us, showed us to our table, asked if we'd been there before and had a chat with us about the menu. According to our hostess/waitress, they are known by locals for their pizza and burgers. We tried schnitzel, pizza, salad and a burger over our two visits. The food makes you think of home cooked meals. Good, basic fare which is nice when you are away from home. The pizza does not remind me at all of the style you get in Italy as another reviewer noted, but it is a tasty pizza. The burger is tasty with fresh lettuce, tomato and onion, the fries are fluffy and tasty. Ingredients are fresh and the portion size just right. Plenty to fill you up. They have a full bar, wine and beer plus soft drinks and coffee. A drink made with Ice cream and coffee seems to be 'a big deal' right now in Germany and the Hotel Anna restaurant has you covered if interested. The dining room is very nice with lots of plants and soft lighting, table cloth covered tables set with sturdy flat ware. The woman taking care of us was very attentive and we had some nice conversations with her. This is a good option if you are looking for a nice dining room experience without fussy food. Good for a date or a family.

We were able to check in and pay whenever we arrived. The room is VERY comfortable and homey! I felt like I walked into a master bedroom at someone else's house and that's where I was staying for the night! Ha! The owner does have cats in her place, they're not in the rooms or anything, so if you have a severe allergy to cats I'd avoid. The restaurant part of the hotel doesn't open up for breakfast however we were given a discount coupon for a place just right down the road from the hotel. Also the military airbase is just down the street. If you walk through the seating area to the right of the entrance in the parking lot you'll get to the entrance of the hotel. Oh also, parking was free!!
