This Parador in Chinchon did not live up to the very high standards that we have come to expect. There was only one bar of soap in the bathroom, no shampoo, the telephone didn't work, the waiter for dinner served us stale bread (we sent it back), and my wine glass was dirty. We had drinks in the bar before dinner and the "pincho" was a crummy small bowl of potato chips. Definitely not up to the caliber of other Paradors. Lo siento.

That said, the front desk personnel are fabulous and extremely accommodating. Breakfast is very nice. Conveniently located with easy access to bus that takes one right into the center of town. Park your car and walk over to Toledo from the bridge. Room was well cleaned. Bed was comfortable. Good wifi in room and lobby. Blowdryer is better than standard. AC and thermostat work great. Fitness room and turkish bath were clean and towels were provided. Breakfast is provided at a cost. Coffee pot and safe were not provided in the room. We stayed during the January off season. We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here about 3 times, whilst working at the local Indra establishment. It's a bit OTT and arty…read morefarty, but it's generally ok and very clean with nice rooms. It's a bit boring at night, but the staff are all very helpful and nice. Ive only ever been here in winter/spring and the weather was cold/cool. I did notice a swimming pool though, and it looks very nice. The nearby town of Aranjuez though is steeped in history and typical Spanish culture. The town is about 25mins walk away.
