I came here for an event and the breakfast is an amazing spread. They have a variety of cheeses, fruit, yogurts, meats, breads, sweets, and eggs available. If you are on any kind of diet or have an allergy you will be able to find something to eat or the staff can prepare something for you. The restaurant staff are extremely friendly and attentive. Today the woman thought that I told her my room number was 150 (instead of 105) and she informed me breakfast was not included in my room. I went and spoke to the front desk staff and they cleared it up right away and the woman apologized to me. She was so nice and understanding about everything and so was I. The lunch and dinner are no different. The lunch has a variety of meats, cheeses, salads, breads, pastries, sweets, paella, coffee, juice, and of course wine! Every table has a bottle of this amazing red wine that is a good balance of cherry and blackberries and is not too dry. It goes so well with both the lunch and dinner options. At dinner the first time I stayed the restaurant was open and so my friends and I were able to receive as much wine as we wanted and an amazing meal. We started with these savory grilled vegetables of onion, mushroom, and a variety of peppers. They were just the right amount of salt and I just wanted to keep eating them! Then for dinner we had this lightly seasoned chicken and fries. Now to the room--just beautiful and comfortable. The bathroom is modernly decorated with this large and beautiful tub. I recommend asking for additional shampoo or shower gel and soaking in the tub with a class of wine. The entire hotel has wi-fi, so you will be able to relax to music on your phone or computer. The beds are a nice balance of soft and hard, so you wake up extremely refreshed and ready for the next day. The television has tons of channels in English and Spanish, so you can relax all morning long. I love that check out is not until 12pm and there is no rush for you to leave. The front desk staff are very flexible and overall just so nice and are happy to have you stay with them. Around the hotel there are a few restaurants, grocery stores, and this huge shopping center with a hipercor and el corte ingles. There are not many "touristy" things to do in the area, but if you want to get away from the touristy areas this is a nice and quiet place to stay and relax. I highly recommend NH Las Tablas for your stay in Madrid.

The amenities in the room are simple. Lots of outlets, free WiFi and a nice flat screen TV. When I open my window I get a fantastic breeze of fresh air that makes the room feel less public. I have had cafe and food in the Restaurant and it is excellent. The pricing is very basic and the quality of food and service is good. There are some other lower cost eating options close by if you want to adventure out. There is also cold drinks and cold beers in the cooler in your room. This was a nice unexpected surprise. I recommend this location if you need to be in this part of Madrid. I would have gone 5 star at this price point if the WiFi was not so bad, it is just good enough for text and simple email-no attachments.

However, the hotel is clean, well-kept, and nice. I would sacrifice these things for a train ride to the city any day. The breakfast is also very diverse and tasty! It seems relatively modern with a nice theme, enticing pool, and flat screen TV. Shower is large and clean as well. The staff is not very nice. The wi-fi is extremely expensive.

I had to stay here on certain nights of my trip because of my Contiki tour booking. The hotel is easily accessible my metro or train at the Chamartin station. Metro is about 12 stops into the city center and the train is only 1 stop so take the train because it is faster. The rooms themselves are very nice and clean. They offer a mini bar option as well. My only complaint is the room doors slam pretty hard. So I was constantly hearing doors slam shut throughout the night as my fellow Contiki travelers arrived from their evenings out.

They have a restaurant downstairs that I never ate at because they don't open until 8pm. I still don't understand how the Spaniards eat dinner around 10pm... Their cafe that served Mediterranean food seemed to be open for most of the day which was convenient. What I hate about this hotel is the location. During morning peak commuting hours it could take up to 30 mins to reach downtown Madrid. My taxi ride cost on average $30 to get down there and then another $20-$30 to get back in the evening. If you're here on business and you don't have time to do any sight seeing then by all means consider this hotel. The staff was very helpful and nice during our stay. If you're here as a tourist, STAY AWAY!!!
