Stayed here about 3 times, whilst working at the local Indra establishment. It's a bit OTT and arty…read morefarty, but it's generally ok and very clean with nice rooms. It's a bit boring at night, but the staff are all very helpful and nice. Ive only ever been here in winter/spring and the weather was cold/cool. I did notice a swimming pool though, and it looks very nice. The nearby town of Aranjuez though is steeped in history and typical Spanish culture. The town is about 25mins walk away.

While the hotel is in the best location in town, bar none and it was once a gorgeous renovated…read morepalace, today it is very tired and in dire needs of freshening up. Compared to other NH hotels, it is subpar: rooms are lacking spare blankets (available upon request), valet, bathrobes. We had to request sheets to be changed as they were stained. Service is adequate, nothing more. No recognition of frequent/repeat guests. All of this will make me find alternative accommodations next time I am in the area. I cannot recommend it.
