You're gonna need to stay here, but you're not gonna like it.
If you're visiting the city of Vordingborg, you have 2 choices of accommodation. Either you check-in at this place, or you go to the hostel a few blocks away. This is the only hotel in town, and boy, do they know it.
My Family and I booked 2 rooms for 1 night, because my aunts was having her birthday party at the Restaurant Borgen (recommendable). The rooms we're 800 kr (about 130 dollars) pr. night each.
What we opened our door to, was worn out rooms, and a bathroom that smelled of sewer. The only positive thing, I guess, was that the sheets were new (I hope). The next morning, we were a little hung-over and hoping that the complimentary breakfast could satisfy our hunger. It didn't. This was a breakfast buffet, that makes the standard Comfort Inn continental breakfast seems like a 5 star resort. The rolls we're gooie and not heated properly from their frozen state. The Coffee was not even worth it. My Lipton Tea was okay combined with their boiled water.....Head for the Restaurant Borgen for brunch instead.
My advice is that you spend as little time in your room as possible. But it's either this or the hostel if you need a place to stay in Vordingborg. read more
