The kitchen at Hotel Frederiksminde is in its simplicity all about the taste. We do what we love. We pick the fresh herbs at the water side and the mushrooms in local woodland.
Our suppliers are often local, because it inspires and tells a story about the food we serve.
For us it is not important to be specifically Nordic or Southern. Important however is the taste, the harmony and above all we can vouch for.
The hotel's desire for domestic bliss is continued in the restaurant. The atmosphere is at the same time unpretentious and stylish with plenty of time and space for pampering. The wine list is primarily composed of European wines. From the great classic producers to the small and quirky wineries who make wine with edge and attitude.
Frederiksminde is intended as an oasis, a sanctuary from the everyday bustle and workloads.
Therefore, it is essential for us that this peace is maintained. This means, that when you are moving around in the hotel rooms, the banquet rooms or in the restaurant please always do so in a quiet manner.
