This boutique hotel in the heart of Valencia city center was the perfect stay! We loved absolutely everything about this place. The staff, rooms, location, restaurant and the unique feel to the place. It's fairly new and they take pride in how good it looks. There was nothing amiss, everything in its place and a place for everything. You notice as soon as you walk in, it's not your standard big reception area front desk kinda place. They have a sit down desk where they check you in. It's so personal and they are so nice and friendly. The restaurant in on one side of the floor and the check in on the other, so it can be busy and a little noisy but it works. There is a seating area if your waiting for the reception. They do keep luggage too if you need after check out or like us if you get there early and the rooms are not ready. They told us the rooms would be ready by 3, which they were.
Everything is in walking distance, restaurants, shops, sightseeing. Very easy to navigate from here.
When we got back after 3 to get into our room, it was all very quick as we'd already checked in. I loved our room, it's not huge, but my friend and I had enough space for each of us. I did like that the bathroom was spacious, had all amenities, even a flat iron, which I've never seen in a hotel before. Loved the slippers! The room was spotlessly clean. Nice down comforter. Good lighting. Closet, safe, water, refrigerator, coffee/tea.. no iron, but they came and delivered one to the room as soon as I called the front desk.
It was never noisy at night, and we slept well. Housekeeping was great. Nice that our beds were made and had fresh towels daily.
The restaurant attached to the hotel was fantastic we never really planned on eating here, but we ended up here every night we stayed! Loved that they closed late. Plus they had a really nice bar area. Great menu too. First night we has the chocolate torte which was so delicious and rich and served with Chocolate gelato. This is to die for . Serious chocolate lovers dessert. Then all of a sudden a salty craving led us to ordering the steak fries, which were nice thick chips like I love from England. These were a great late night carb fix. I had a cappuccino which was a great evening caffeine boost and my friend had their cava, second night we came back, cava and Rioja for us to drink, gyozas for a snack and the lemon pie for dessert, also all delicious loved the gyozas, great filling, nice and crispy outside. The pie, was nice and lemony, loved the meringue like topping. Our last night we had to repeat the first night, you cannot pass up that chocolate torte and steak fries combo. Plus more wine. The servers were really nice and friendly and answered all our mundane questions ! This was a nice neighborhood type restaurant, great for the people who stay at the hotel and people just wanting a nice setting for dinner. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner.
If ever back in Valencia I would stay here in a heartbeat. Nice classic kinda hotel, yet modern. 5 stars and more! read more
