If I could give this restaurant 10 stars if we could. We stayed at the hotel next door and wanted to sit outside so we tried our Hotel Gloria. We were not disappointed. During the 5 nights of our stay we are here 4 of the 5. The food was AMAZING...the view is beautiful and the best service we had in all ofSwitzerland and Germany. Their attention to detail was great. My kids really enjoyed their meal. Their wine selection was really nice, but we ended up ordering the same wine recommended to us by the owner on the first night. This is a must on your trip to the Interlaken area. You will not be disappointed read more

This is a review for the Hotel Gloria Restaurant. Four of us dined here at sunset in July. The view was absolutely incredible. On a clear night, you can see all of the great peaks of the Bernese Oberland (Jungfrou, Eiger, etc.) majestically before you as well as Lake Thun. If the sights weren't reason enough to go, the fondue was the best we'd ever had. There are three different kinds of fondue, and we loved both the cider & herb and the beer ones. Their third fondue recipe has no alcohol, I believe. If I recall correctly, our bill came to about 30-40 CHF per person, including a glass of bier or wine each. read more

History

Established in 1960.

Fritz & Karoline Oehrli Family first opened Hotel Gloria on 1.April 1960. Thier Son Bernhard who moved to Australia in 1986 returned to Switzerland with his Austrlaian Wife Jacky to take over & breath new life in Hotel Gloria in 2007. The result is a successful blend of Family Tradition, warm hospitality, fresh innovative food & beautiful accommodation.
