Proximity to the main drag of Red Lodge was less than a five minute walk. This allowed me to stay away from all the commotion, yet have access to everything that I needed. Shopping, restaurants, and much more are a simple stroll away, so once parked, there's no need to ride/drive anywhere.
The King Suite that I stayed in was very minimalist, but clean and had all the conveniences that I needed. Although we were just a stones throw from the main road, it was quiet at night and I slept well. The sauna and hot tub were nice touches, but given that the temperature was hovering in the mid-90s during my stay, neither held much attraction at the moment.
One of the rooms that I rented had a clear explanation on how to use the keyless entry, so I had no problem. One of the other members of the party did not have this explanation and he struggled getting into his room and locking it when he left.
It is a bit pricey, but just slightly higher than other places in the area. I left a happy camper after my stay, especially considering the proximity to such amazing motorcycle roads. read more
