    Turkey seen in the backyard

This was an awesome place to stay while traveling to Yellowstone. Our cabin was 2 floors with living space and a kitchen on the bottom and bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs. Our condo was immaculately clean and the bed was so comfortable. I loved that we could take our dog and that there was a full kitchen. We even saw wild turkeys from the dining table while we were eating breakfast!! There was a pool and a hot tub that were available to use. We rented this condo in August, and it was SO affordable for the space we got. I wish we could have stayed longer. I would recommend this hotel to everyone!

Power plug overload and old furniture

The only positive thing I can say is that the woman working the front desk does really try to help make the stay doable, she was very nice. As it was explained to us, each unit is individually owned like a condo. This is why they all look different. The online photos only show one of each unit so it is deceiving, you don't really know what you are getting. We had to change to a ground floor and the only unit open was so old and smelled horrible, like a combo of urine, old and musty, and flea spray; made our eyes burn. The furniture looks like they shopped at 1960's yard sale, it is old and chipped up. The entire unit was disgusting. Fire hazards aplenty with all the extension cords plugged in. My husband is a firefighter and was shocked. The exterior of the whole place was dirty and very run down. We left and drove to Billings, did not stay here. I am surprised by all the good reviews here!!

You will be very happy staying here. The staff was extremely friendly. The room was very comfortable with everything you need. I was intrigued to learn all the rooms are individually owner, designed and decorated. Kitchen and cute little booth and don't forget to sign the "couch potato guest book." The pool and spa were nice at the end of the day. We will be staying here again!!

We had an excellent time staying at chateau Rouge Friday night. Leary to eat at restaurants in the area due to COVID, we took advantage of the well-stocked kitchenettes the motel has in each room. They also have several gas and charcoal bbq's around back, so we picked up a couple of Montana grown, prime, NY steaks and ate a 5* meal at a 2* price!

Would definitely stay here again. Clean and comfortable room with a standard size refrigerator and stove. Don't expect fancy. They have pet friendly rooms which is a plus when traveling with man's best friend(our 70lb Boxer- hes more like a child really) A little on the older side but fairly well maintained.

This place is great! All the "condos" are individually owned and unique. We stayed in the newly remodeled #201. Fantastic! Great beds, fire place, big tv downstairs and also one in one of the bedrooms for the kids. If you going to go through the park and just need to get away this place is awesome. A home away from home.

The town of Red Lodge is very cute, with lots of restaurants and stores. To be honest, the Beartooth sounded better online than it was in person. It is definitely in a need of a refresh. We had booked this vacation somewhat last minute, so other locations to stay had already been booked up, so it is what it is. But we were grateful that we were only staying one night. The breakfast is limited, both in selection, and length of time that it's available. Everything is prepackaged and chilled from being in the fridge. If you put the pastries in the microwave for a few seconds, it definitely helped. For the price, I would've expected better accommodations, but honestly, when you are staying in a gateway community to a national park, this is often what you find.

When I went, the hot tub was out of order. They have a big, inviting pool that's heated and indoors! The ice machine worked just fine. Parking was easy, there's a dedicated lot that has a big bear statue out on the roadside, with benches with bears carved into them. When I went, I saw wild turkeys roaming the parking lot! The art in here is something else. There's a term for it- it's scenic Montana scenes carved into wood in 3D. Cool. The room was good- it didn't have anything too incredible going on with it, other than the art. A small TV in the corner was ample. The HVAC operated just fine. The staff was very nice and gracious. Somehow my car back hatch was left open all night, and no bears or thieves got in. There's a sign not to leave food in your car, as there might be bears. Seriously. They offer free breakfast. It was short-lived before they locked it back down again, but it has yogurt, donuts, bagels, fruit, juice, milk, cereal, and weak coffee.
