If you want friendly, English and French speaking customer service, stay here!!! The staff went above and beyond, providing directions, assisting with taxis, printing boarding passes and even sending out international postcards (our London hotel didn't provide this!!!)
We stayed at this hotel via Go-Today travel and had no idea what to expect. The hotel we had been booked for in London was more like a hostel, so we were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The hotel is well located, blocks from the theatre district, maybe 1-2 miles from Moulin Rouge, 1/2 mile to a mile from elegant shopping, and 2 miles to the Louvre (if you want to walk). It is just a few blocks from subway stations to easily travel inexpensively. Taxis to the Eiffel Tower and other tourist hot spots run around 15 Euros.
The hotel itself is beautiful. Apparently recently refurbished. The finishes are what I would expect from a luxury, 5 star hotel. The rooms (we had 302 and 303) were large, with an in room fridge and nespresso machine (pods at cost 0.90€ from front desk). The bathroom was large and they provide shampoo and shower gel) [note: neither London nor Paris establishments provide washcloths, just hand towels and towels...this was a real issue for one person in our party )
Also, for budget travelers, produce markets, patisseries, laundromats and minimarts are close by...stock up and keep in your room fridge :-) read more
