As a person always on the move it didn't really bother me that the place looked a little bit old. I was super excited when they said they had wi-fi!!! The wi-fi is free you just need to get a little print recipe with the code and you are all set!! All I needed was a nice hot shower and a bed to sleep on for a few hours and that is what I got. They also give you a complimentary breakfast which is nice but it also seems like most hotels do give you this. Not the best hotel but I think it did well with what I needed it for !

Well, maybe it's been cleaned a bit, but the carpets and sinks are flithy (see my photos) The commons areas are decent and it's nice that it has a pool, but it feels like a hotel that needs A LOT of work to bring it up to modern standards. The location is a bit strange too - it sits across from a train station in the middle of what appears to be a deserted business park -- very industrial feeling and not very friendly (though the pizza place/diner across the street is actually reasonably good). Also, the staff refuses to turn on the A/C, even when there are signs in the room asking you to call down to the front desk if you want it on - absurd!

The lobby is modern and as I look around I get a modern chic feel. I'm excited they have a restaurant and a sky bar on the 18th floor. We take the elevator up to the 8th floor and once I step out the hallways looked a little shabby but a good shabby. Open the door and the room looks dirty. My son says how many stars is this hotel rated mom? I answered that question later when I looked , 2 stars son as I shake my head. The tables had water stains on them, furniture was clearly old and just out dated. The bathroom was covered in a ugly wall paper and the tub was dirty with rust stains. The glasses in the bathroom were dirty, toilet and sink. We didn't shower that's how nasty it was. The sheets appeared to be clean and towels thank god. Overall I would never stay here or refer someone here. If I would of booked this hotel I would of checked yelp. My wife booked it and Expedia made this hotel look amazing. Do not stay here we paid 82 euro total and it's definitely not worth any amount of money. They need to remodel the rooms. The rooms were so dirty it made me not want to eat in the restaurant. If the house keepers don't have to clean the restaurant why would I think the kitchen staff has to clean.

Try doing bed checks with an elevator that takes 5 minutes to get to you. The rooms are disgusting- I'd call it skid row "chic". We saw people going in, when the kids were going in, that looked like transients. It's a nasty area. The rooms are falling apart. The chain on the way to the balcony (large cracks out there) was busted- like someone had kicked it in from the outside. The place was clean- thank goodness for small favors- but the outlet in my room had been pulled out- just a socket with no way to plug anything in. It looks like it used to be "modern"- from the wallpaper I'd guess that was the 70's. The food is gross- at least what we were served was awful. I could not eat it. Deep fried cutlet so tough I could not cut it with a knife. I gave up and just had some potato wedges for dinner. Yes- dinner was a deep fried cutlet and potato wedges- no fruit, no veg (but there was cake). Drinks? Bottle water, dirty glasses, tepid water for tea, and coffee. I guess EF gets a deal on this place- but I'm writing to complain, because this is not up to even their rather minimalist standards, and I don't think it's safe to put kids here. And those wake up calls for our 5 am bus that we were supposed to get? Never happened. Even though the guy at the desk decided to tell me I did get one- even though no one did, and many of us were awake, so we would have noticed....

We made our way here whilst on our European Vacation tour where we spent 1 night on our way to Heideleberg. First of all this is by no means a 4 star hotel and deserves a 1-2 star rating at best. The hotel has only 1 lift that makes transporting luggage up and down a nightmare especially when a tour bus comes in and everybody wants to get on fast. The room is basic at best, a tiny shower stall, no air-conditioning especially during the hot Summer months, no frill mattresses, and paper thin walls. Internet had to be requested and that too was slow at best. There is a restaurant and bar onsite that was more for drinks than food. We decided to walk towards the train station and venture to a lovely find just a couple of blocks away for a late night dinner at the Capri Restaurant for amazing thin-crust pizza. There are plenty of other Hotels on the area if you are planning to stay outside of Frankfurt on a budget.

At room, there is nepresso machine and a plate of fruits everyday. Room was spacious and duvet was so light but warm. There are always either cereal bars or candy bars in the lobby and in the evening, champaign and chocolates are waiting for you!! Breakfast offers fresh fruits, all kinds of appetizer stuff, bread if course, many different kinds of yogurts, cereals and egg station for omelet. Staff are very friendly. Bar was nice but food wasn't that good. I tried pizza, Cesar salad and pasta but none of them was worth the price. No dinner restaurant but room service was available. I would definitely stay here again!!
