Every time I see him at the desk I don't even bother u just find another hotel. Staff sucks !!! Very rude ! House keeping very rude aswell they'll barge in the room just because 12am is time for them to leave so they expect you to be ok with them rushing you out the room so they can leave on time. It's not my issue that house keeping leaves @12am I had the room till 12:15 but the house keep standing at door & opened the door 2x cause they're ready to go home, explain what does there time have to reflect on mines ? read more

Me and my husband checked in around 9:30 and the first room we received there was a leak in the restroom from the toilet and we could not wash our hands due to low water pressure we then received another room and the second one had roaches in the refrigerator and they refused to clean it and there were men outside there rooms loud music smoking etc refused us a refund as well then the guy at the front desk asked us to leave because we had to many complaints after a fight had broken out in the parking lot . After a totally unexpected snowstorm in San Antonio that made me miss my connecting flight in Houston (I was headed to sunny Miami), I had my flight rescheduled for the next day. There was no way I was spending the night in the airport, so I went on Hotels.com and found the Hotel Bella. It's a 30 minute drive ($33 on Uber) drive from the airport, but that was negated with the experience I had there. What a little gem! You can't beat it for the price. I got a junior suite (but will be getting a studio next time we're in town), and it was super comfortable, very clean and beautifully decorated. The bed was mega-comfortable and plush, and I slept like a baby. The TV swivels 180 degrees and there's a small sitting area with plantation shutters on the windows. The bathroom is gorgeous - all dark tile with above-counter sinks, shampoo/conditioner/soap in dispensers on the shower wall, and a waterfall showerhead. The room also had a microwave and refrigerator, plus a coffee maker. Complimentary breakfast is from 6 am until 9 am, with offerings such as breakfast sandwiches, fresh fruit, Kashi cereals, oatmeal, Naked mini-juices, and an amazing coffee machine that dispenses Mokalitas (for those of you not familiar with this amazing drink, it's coffee with Abuelita hot chocolate). The lobby is modern and airy, with long tables, a TV and sitting areas. Checkout is at noon, which gave us plenty of time to nap before we decided to scrap the rest of our trip to Miami and drive back to San Antonio! We will most definitely stay here again! read more

This is probably the best hotel I've been to for its price level, and I hope it doesn't change. There were a few things about the hotel that were a little off, but just the pillowtop mattress alone was worth the cost of staying there. The TV, A/C system, lighting, shower with pulse-massaging showerhead were great plusses. However, I wouldn't recommend this place to a family with small children. The sink, although nice, is too high for small children to reach the handles, and there aren't any playgrounds or pools for them to play in. It's definitely more for singles, business travelers, or maybe even couples who just need a place to sleep. They do have pretty much only healthy breakfast options, however, there's a Raising Caine's and Wendy's right in front of the hotel and a Walmart across the street, which is open 24 hours. A couple of caveats were that the sink looked a little unfinished on the sides of the counter, and I probably should've checked, but they had already charged me for the rooms in the morning of my check-in. I had planned to use my other card when I arrived, but they said it was already paid for, which surprised me, because I'm used to hotels charging either after checking in, or at check-out. Luckily, I was okay with it, but this could be a major issue for some people. Still, did I mention the bed? I would take off 1/2 a star, but it was still 5 stars for the price of the room. Don't know if I'll ever visit Houston again, but I would definitely stay here again. read more

The lobby is a lot smaller than I thought but I won't be sitting in there. Both the junior suite and the studios are beautiful and roomy. The junior suite had a beautiful layout for the bedroom with a gorgeous hue lighting. If you want more bedroom space go for the junior suite. The bathroom has a basic large rectangle showhead with great water pressure and a lot of length to the shower. The studio is large with a basic hotel setup. The bathroom has a waterfall and side nozzles. If you are interested in a great shower room go for the studio. read more

If I could give it a 0 I would, I came to try and stay a night and the owner was so rude. I told him if I could book just for one night and he asked for my ID so I gave it to him. He then told me I wasn't old enough, I'm 19 by the way and I told him I was of age and he kept denying me, luckly I stayed one super close by where they had great service. I'm still not sure if it was because I look 12 and he probably thought I was carrying a false ID but it still doesn't excuse the way he had handled the situation. read more

We stayed here when the hotel was brand new and enjoyed our stay. I recently stayed here and the shower head had water going in every direction but down. We ended up have to take a shower with the shower heads coming out the wall which cane out too strong causing a puddle outside the shower.. The closet door in the restroom never closed. HORRIBLE! My boyfriend and I took a chance because we normally go to the same place and it was a great price! Soon as we walked in the room the bed was unmade and the bathroom had towels on the floor. I was disgusted! Stayed here a while ago before I had my surgery. Beautiful place! It is so much fancier than the price would suggest. Simple things made this place one of my favorites. A tv that rotated 180 degrees, living space, a desk and a bedroom. Not too big and not too small. The shower was AMAZING! And it was conveniently located next to two restaurants and across the street from a Wal-Mart. All walking distance. More people should be at this place. I got a room here on Saturday morning at 6am after a long drive out of state , the front desk rep told me it was 60 bucks which is cheaper than the actual cost of the room I'm assuming because check out was in 6 hours . The room was ok , no weird smells or bugs , but the next morning I get someone banging at my door viscously screaming for me to "get out now !!!" I wasn't dressed and it wasn't even 12 yet I realized how tired I was and decided I wanted another night so I hurried to the front desk and no one was to be found I waited 15 minutes and nobody came after ringing bells and looking outside for front desk employee, the woman who was banging on my door and yelling at me ran to the front desk I asked if she was the one who was banging on my door all she said was "check out ?" I told her I wanted another room , she then told me I have a balance of 30 dollars . I was confused . She said you only paid 60 , o told her that is what I was told I owed was 60 because I checked in a 6 , she denied that that was so , she called around to her employees and kept demanding I pay the 30 dollars even after I stated I wanted another room she then said there weren't anymore rooms , just to turn around and say the room I already checked into was still available. She kept calling around speaking in another language saying I owed money I was so frustrated , i just checked out and I left sleepy and very annoyed Terrible attitudes and terrible service , the rooms are modern but the employees lack hospitality and organization. read more

First time staying here & i am completely in love with the modern feel of this hotel. The check in was a breeze & such a friendly staff. They really made use of the space, a little seating area when you walk into the room, a desk with the tv next to it. I love all the cabinets! Since I booked the junior room I wasn't expecting the fridge & microwave but to my surprise they had one tucked away in the cabinets! & the restroom was PERFECT. Little toiletries such as makeup remover which is helpful considering I forgot mine (haha). & This is by far the best shower!!! read more

I googled hotels near the airport and their name came up. I made a reservation online, but when I got into the taxi he told me it was really far away. I called the hotel and the guy said they were about 20 minutes from the airport. I told him that's not close. It said online that you couldn't cancel the reservation without a fee. The guy I talk to said that he would cancel my reservation. But he couldn't do it until the morning. He didn't even ask my name. Not impressed. If I have to eat the money I'm going to be really upset. Saying that they're close to the airport isn't ethical at all. This is an update. I called in the morning and the guy said that they would cancel my reservation. My company just got billed for it. They didn't do anything they said they were going to do and they basically lied to me. Do not trust these people. read more

The room is very simple and clean, if I were to describe the theme it would be "modern". The TV actually works, has many channels to choose from, and can swivel if you are sitting from an angle. The man at the front desk was extremely kind and helped with any issues we had. The bathroom was beautiful and nicely set up with makeup remover, soap, body lotion, and of course body wash/conditioner/shampoo. Another amazing feature was the AC because it actually made the room warm or cold, it wasn't some cheap low grade AC. The only complaint I have was the lighting placement. There were lights at the front of the door, in the bathroom, and a lamp on each side of the bed; however, there was no main lamp for the bedroom, which made it a bit annoying when I needed some light. Stayed at this motel/hotel for the weekend and I couldn't wait to be out of there by Saturday. For the price, you get what you pay for. You really do. For the amenities it has, definitely a good price, but god are these walls PAPER THIN. The first night I woke up at 2am because the neighbors were getting very intimate I could hear EVERY single thing going on upstairs. EVERYTHING. I had read reviews before with the same problem, and I figured they were just exaggerating, because in reviews not everyone is 100 percent truthful, but if you're looking into staying at this hotel, and really value your sleep. Don't. Save your money and book elsewhere. You can head cars being loud/annoying. VERY tacky, that the employees are out smoking in front of the property, like at least go to the back and do so, I understand some people need a smoke break, but totally ruins the curb appeal, and takes away from the hotel making it look trashy. Second the floor on the studio looks unfinished even though that is that industrial look that they're going for. I was very excited for this hotel but being woken up at 2am with very loud neighbors ruined it. Only got a couple hours of sleep. I understand i could've called the front lobby, but I am not going to move, just because some people decide to be loud, they should be the ones moving their bags and going elsewhere since they ruin it for the rest of us. I had a staycation with my boyfriend and he really thought i went all out with the room but little did he know i paid a little of nothing and got a big bag for my buck.... there are eating location and a 24 hour Walmart all in walking distance. Let me tell you about #HotelBella... my fiancé and I can not praise this place enough. And for the price?! You simply can't beat it with the waterfall shower heads and astonishing decor. The rooms are extra roomy! And the welcome desk was absolutely welcoming. After dealing with a difficult customer the receptionist, Ms. Dee, was great at shaking him off and helped us feel very welcomed. Now the only thing I would warn you of is breakfast.. if you're a big eater I will say you should plan to eat out the next morning. They offer small breakfast items such as oatmeal, yogurt, breakfast bars, Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches and Naked Juices. Luckily my fiancé is a sucker for oatmeal or I wouldn't have heard the end of it! This is the place I will recommend each and every time someone talks about a Houston visit. Ive traveled all over the world staying in 4 to 5 star hotels. Hotel bella decor is impeccable. They are very new. You have several types of rooms. I originally was in an upstairs suite. Only drawback is you have to carry your bags up a flight of stairs. My tv wasnt working bc of rain. Front desk came very quickly to fix. I was moved to a downstairs studio. The furniture inside is really modern in the stuidio & in suites. Carpet on the floors & modern grey tiles in the dressing/kitchenette/ bathroom area. Some of the double kitchenettes area have a full size stainless steel fridge with white modern cabinets. Feels like a mini L.A. or new York modern apt. The bathrooms are huge with tiled bathrooms to the ceiling. This is a new bathroom design trend of 2017. Perfect. The sinks are above mount sinks. You are given mouthwash, facial soap & a super hydrating lotion with natural ingredients. I recommend the studio if you are with your significant other. It looks like a New York or chicago loft with real exposed brick. The bathroom has a sliding barn like door. The floor has concrete floors . Just know if you drop your smart phone or tablet on this floor It will break bc its concrete. So guard your phone's. The bathroom in the studios is the sexiest bathroom ive seen in a hotel in a long time. I haven't seen anything like this in a hotel. Hotel bella used high quality essentials. The massive shower had 4 body jets & a massive rainfall shower head. The studio has a massive window for your significant other to raise the blinds and watch you. Beware the lift is not in the shower but right by the bed on the outside so they have full access to watch you take a shower. The soaps didn't dry out my skin & i have dry skin. Im very impress with this hotel. They didnt cut corners. The bedding is from ikea. I got a good night body rest in the beds. The price should be double or tripple what you pay. Breakfast had a lot of name brand healthy options. With a cappuccino machine, mini naked juices & vast choice of granola bars & protein packed cereals. The only drawbacks are that the rooms are outside doors that need better weather strips, No elevators, stairs only, the area across the way is being redeveloped. If you go just two blocks over behind the new walmart it can be kinda hood. There were a few questionable guest during my stay. Biggest thing was noise through the downstairs studios. I could hear a lady lauging extra loud with a guy she was with at 2am. Just turn you tv & air condition on & it will drown the noise. Overall i highly recommend this hotel. The concept is exceptional. I love hotels that make me feel i am in another state by design & hotel bella accomplished that very well. Check out is noon breakfast is 6am to 9am. Found hotel but card declinèd because Bella charged me 2 nights for 2 rooms. Never made it to their business. Cannot get money for a week. Management upset because I cancelled. The hotel was very nice, very modern, and the people were very nice. My biggest complaint besides it being a motel is that it is very noisy. You can hear everything. There were people checking in at around 2am and when they were bringing their things to their room we could hear their footsteps and voices. Other than the noise it was very comfortable. read more

This place is nice. It's clean & looks new. The beds are comfy, the restroom is beautiful & they provide a big fridge with a mini kitchen for great convenience. The stay is outstanding for its price! However I believe customer service is also an important factor when staying at any hotel. I came home from a long day of driving, feeling a bit carsick and just wanted to jump in the shower and lounge in my room. When i got there the key didn't work so I called front desk to see why is the problem? lady told me to "just come to the front desk & reset it" Great now i have to walk all the way down stairs to deal and "reset" my key. Lady never even told me why this happened or any reason. I mean it would've been nice to be given a heads up beforehand, even though i had already checked in the night before.
