This hotel is just Ok. My opinion might be a bit skewed due to Rome being the last destination of my three-week European adventure. The hotel is on the third floor with an elevator that barely fits two people without luggage. I was happy to take the stairs during my stay but it was difficult when my travel buddy and I had our luggage with us. Overall the hotel satisfied our basic travel needs. Below are the pros and cons for this hotel.
PRO's
I really enjoyed the staff. They were very friendly and informative about how to navigate the city. The hotel is very central to all tourist spots. The Spanish Steps are few blocks away from the hotel. Another highlight is that the hotel is an equal distance between the Vatican and Colosseum, which are on opposite sides of the city. They are also walking distance to a public airport shuttle stop, so instead of taking a pricey taxi, we were able to hop on the shuttle.
CON's
The room was really small. I shared the room with my travel buddy and we were very cramped. The shower was extremely small as well. At one point the shower overflowed and the water got everywhere. The complimentary breakfast was mediocre but it's hard to complain about something that is free. read more
