This piece took my van out of commission, we went to O'Reilly in the hopes of a quick fix. Unfortunately they didn't have the exact part we needed and since it was after 7 their distribution center closed. While I attempted to entertain the three little kids the O'Rielly associate, Benny, went way above and beyond for us. He went to home depot in search of a part that would be a temporary fix, with no luck. He drove my husband to AutoZone, again with no luck. We spent basically four hours with Benny trying to find some way to fix our van and be on our way. Sadly we had to delay our trip and spend the night in Toledo, but they had the part for us early in the morning and directed us to someone who could properly attach the part for free. Benny and Eddy at O'Reilly made a terrible situation much better than it would have been otherwise. I only wish I lived in the vicinity so I could frequent the store for all my auto parts needs.

It seemed weird they didn't have any so when I got home I called autp store to see if they carried them and that guy said yes. Headed back out again to the store. By this time I was upset. They then told me they did not have anything or anything like it. I would never return. Who tells someone to go to a craft store for ball bearings? We were making a turbine, not a flower arrangement.

They suggested that spark plugs may be a bit old and should be replaced. Sure. Spark plugs are @ $5 each and quick installation. Why not... Go ahead. NEVER ASSUME you will be treated fairly -- our costly mistake. --- Schaad's charged $23.71 for each of the FOUR spark plugs that could be baught at auto store for less than $10. Total for four = $94.84 Then they charged $125.00 to put the four spark plugs in. ----- Cost of the Tow was $65 ----- They broke the gas latch in the process of all of this. They ordered the part, we brought the car back and they fix it for free. They were very friendly and I was hoping to use them in the future for other vehicles. Instead, I've told my six sisters, their husbands and my two brothers about the $23.71 spark plugs. There are 18 nephew and nieces + spouses over the age of 25 that live in the area also. That is just my side of the family. We make it a point to share our experiences good or bad. Places to go to and use and those places to avoid and tell others to avoid. I don't mind anyone making money/a living. I even pay a bit extra for family owned and local businesses. But I will warn anyone and everyone to avoid those who take advantage (i.e., $23.71 for a single spark plug to go on an old, cheap car). Those are the places you AVOID. ---------- You Have Been Warned ---------- 1 Star for Towing in less than 30 minutes 1 Star for Quick phone response and friendliness

I don't trust my vehicles to anyone else. I recently brought in a used car I was looking to purchase and they inspected it bumper to bumper saving me potentially thousands in unwanted repair costs. Bottom line - they do great work at a great price.
