Turnbull and Cook hired Michael John Plumbing Services to fix a recurring sewer problem at our home…read moreon Malvern Road in Toorak. Tree roots had blocked the drains, causing toilets to overflow in two units. Michael John was supposed to clear the blockages and offered a money-back guarantee. A week after the repairs, one tenant's toilet overflowed again, so she called Michael John, who came to pressure wash the drains. A few days later, over the weekend, my toilet also overflowed. I tried to bail the water into the shower, but eventually had to call an emergency plumber. That visit cost me $5,000, which I had to put on my credit card. Now I am being told that Turnbull and Cook may not reimburse me. I strongly advise against hiring Michael John Plumbing Services. Ps I am a senior citizen on a pension.

We recently approached western thermal Solutions for a quote…read morefor a Daikin whole house split-multi air conditioning system. The reception person was very helpful and knowledgeable. They arranged a quote quickly from the house plans that i provided to them and the description of our needs. The guy doing the quote was able to ask a few questions over the phone and then provide a quote. If we liked the quote then he said he would come out to check unit placements etc and finalise the quote. He was very knowledgeable and able to convey how he arrived at the sizing suggested. We were very happy with their service and about to get them to do the work when they told us that they only use Nano Electrical for the electrical work and had no other electrical contractors to use. As we had previously had a negative experience with Nano we had to disappointedly decline the quote. Hopefully western thermal with make arrangements with other electrical contractors in the future to avoid situations such as this.

We are having a very disappointing experience with Xceptional Plumbing…read more A job request had already been open for 4 days from my real state agency regarding contaminated brown water coming from all taps in our property in Victoria. When I called on February 13th, I was told they would call back, but they never did. When my husband called again today, February 21st, he was rude and said the situation was "not an emergency". This issue has been affecting our entire house for over a month. Shower filter turned brown after few use, we are spending extra money trying to make the water usable, and we are now facing health concerns, including significant hair loss. For a hot water system issue marked as urgent, we expected professionalism, clear communication and faster action. Situations involving potentially unsafe water should be treated seriously and respectfully.
