Located in the heart of old town Fredericksburg, a couple of doors away from Foode, you will find a European high fashion boutique with reasonably priced, stylish and tasteful clothing - selected and imported directly from Europe by the owner, Paola, who is a style maven from Italy's fashion capial, Milan. And she is super nice and helpful, too. The fashionable will find a unique assortment of one of a kind clothing items. Items that will turn heads and make you look amazing. I decided to spend a little more on a couple of outfits, and some unique accessories to compliment and update the rest of my wardrobe and make my look more modern. The compliments from friends keep coming. And to get some of the world's finest clothing, without paying the Georgetown, Bethesda or McLean mark-up! I have never been disappointed, and have always found the right gifts. This Christmas it is a beautiful silk scarf, made in France, for my mother. I have never seen such a pretty scarf anywhere else. But the last time we were there the nice woman behind the counter suggested I take a look in the back room. There was a small but very cool collection of "guy" items. Knives, cigar stuff and lots of things for your bar. Then I spotted an epic glass globe with tubes set on a diagonal and resting in a wooden base. You pour your scotch in the top and it sits in the globe that you spin to aerate it. Inside the globe is a small glass schooner that spins with the globe. On either side is a scotch glass with the continents etched on them. I had to have it. Price was reasonable but the wood had a small scratch on it. No problem. They ordered a new one and called me a week later to come pick it up. All in all an unexpected find. Highly recommend making a visit. Wives will love the clothes and the guys can check out the back room. Worthwhile trip. Five stars.

My friend ended up getting a gorgeous pair of vintage jeans that fit her perfectly, and my fellow shorties know the struggle of finding a pair of well-fitting jeans (she's 5'2 and I'm 5'0). I bought a beautiful black and gold cardigan perfect for fall and winter (honestly would wear it now too) and a little sticker. Since the place is a little small, the store attendant told us there were only 4 people in the store at a time so it was easy to snag a dressing room (I believe there were only 2). It was a Saturday afternoon so no one was waiting outside anyways. I appreciated that the store attendant left us alone for the most part so we could browse at our own pace. I had a wholesome conversation with her when I checked out about how we both use receipts and stickers in our planners to remember what we did that day!
