I went to Aspetto with nothing but an idea - take these department issued pants, make them out of something light weight and comfortable, put the pockets in better spots, and build something to support a drop-down holster. Oh, yeah - and I want an extra handcuff pocket somewhere. I was asking for a LOT. A little while later, I had it all. And more. The pants they made fit me perfectly, support a drop-down holster, and even have some extra pockets for life's necessities (lip balm, a flashlight, etc.). I happen to think their prices are reasonable. For less than the cost of a brand new leather jacket, I'm wearing a pair of trousers which were designed, researched and developed, and built - from scratch. Someone said they weren't "terribly impressed for the money," and I'm curious as to his expectations. You don't get this level of customization or craftsmanship inexpensively, and "for the money" I couldn't be more impressed. As to communication, when I was trying to find a place to make my pants (several places said 'it simply can't be done') I stumbled on Aspetto's website. About eleven at night, a chat window opened and asked if I needed help. A short while later I was chatting with one of the owners, and the proverbial ball was rolling. You're not going to find a better custom clothing experience, especially for a non-traditional item. Nor are you going to find a better value for such a thing.

My family and I visited the store to try on a rental that we had already arranged for an event on September 4. My brother-in-law was trying on the rental, and I was also planning to purchase a shirt while we were there. At approximately 8:57 PM, an employee named Khamoni appeared visibly upset that we were still in the store. Instead of assisting us or allowing us to finish comfortably, he was focused on cleaning and had the vacuum plugged in. He made facial expressions, shook his head, and gestured "no," making it very clear that he was unhappy with our presence because it was close to closing time. I understand that we arrived near closing time and that employees have responsibilities at the end of their shift. However, we were customers with an existing rental for an important event, and I believe we still deserved to be treated respectfully and professionally while the store was open. The employee's attitude made us feel extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome. I was prepared to purchase a shirt that evening, but because of the way we were treated, I decided not to make the purchase. I am a customer who expects basic courtesy and professionalism, especially from a company such as Men's Wearhouse. I would appreciate it if management could review this situation and address the employee's behavior so that other customers do not have a similar experience. Not only did he admit that he used the wrong cleaner, but he also severely damaged the boot by completely red it a different color and staining the white stitching and made it red. So then they re-ordered my boots and had it shipped to the store again. Just went to go pick them up and both boots were damaged. One had marker on it and the other had sticky residue all over it. Absolutely ridiculous. They ordered me a third pair that is supposedly coming strictly from the warehouse to the store so we'll see how that goes.
