Then I found this place and all the reviews were great, which made me a little suspicious. However, I discovered that these reviews for here were true. This is a no games, no funny-business place. Anna was my masseuse and did a fantastic job. She was not only respectful and professional but her technique was incredible. This was the best massage I've had in a long time. I only had a little bit of time to devote to a spa so I just went in for a facial. My therapist was seriously amazing. On top of being a great aesthetician, she was really professional yet fun to talk to. Usually I hate being quiet in spas (I know, I'm weird) and she was great about it. She let me start the conversations so that if I wanted to just be quiet and relax, I could have been. Very tactful! So despite the lacklustre decor and ambience, I will give it 5 stars just for the range of services and excellent therapists (from my visit anyway). With 12 options for a facial, a plastic surgeon on call and hydrotherapy on the menu, it's hard to find a comparable spa in Ottawa.

We got there for 8:30 and it was pretty quiet, and we got to enjoy at least one thermal cycle before the crowds got bigger. My favourites are the salt scrub, steam saunas and hot stone beds. The rituals are also fun to attend and are definitely a challenge to stay through the whole thing! I like that there are different kinda throughout the day. Get there 15mins earlier though because they fill up fast. My relatives did the Kalla float pools and loved it. You could fall asleep in there, and your skin is nice and soft after. You can definitely stay a whole day here. We left around 7pm but could have stayed longer. At around 7pm there was a line for the showers. A few recommendations: would like more showers, more places to replace towels and robes, more hammocks (there was a big section 8 years ago, but it's replaced with other stuff). Majority of my relatives who got massages said the pressure could have been harder, and they could have been asked which areas to focus on. I always recommend this place to friends and family, and love that they are always expanding. Nice to be back!

We tried all of the hot/cold options except the sea experience, which was unfortunately out of order when we went. We also stopped to get lunch. On each occasion, we arrive surprised by the location of this spa, then remember we have been there before, and become impressed by the fact that they are doing well based on their rather challenging location. Then we go in for our services and are reminded why they are doing so well - the practitioners are great! Each experience we have had here has been delightful: we are welcomed with a drink, the front staff are all very polite and friendly, and the practitioners are very professional. We have had pedicures, body treatments, and massages, and we have left each time feeling very pleased. The only reason we are not regulars, is the location. For us, it's on the opposite end of town, it requires a rather awkward u-turn to get into the mall, and while we are super pleased with the services, the actual spa space could use a bit of a facelift (but that's minor in the grand scheme of things).
