I recently attended a concert at the Miracle Theater in Inglewood to see my friend Kobie Dozier and…read morehis band perform, and I had a great experience! The theater itself is fantastic. There really isn't a bad seat in the house, and the sound quality is impeccable. The venue has a unique seating setup where you purchase tickets by section rather than by individual seat, and then choose your seats within that area. I actually loved that arrangement because it offered some flexibility while still keeping things organized. The staff and owners were incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful in person, which made the experience even better. My only frustration was trying to contact the theater beforehand. Their phone recording instructs callers to leave a message, but the beep never comes, making it impossible to actually leave one. I also didn't receive a response to my email inquiry. If you have questions before an event, that can be a little irritating. That said, once you're there, the experience is wonderful. Great venue, great atmosphere, and excellent acoustics. I'd definitely return for another show!

We had met him at another event in Beverly Hills a few weeks before, chatted with him (a really great guy as well as a great jazz musician). We signed up for the entire event from the soundcheck which was an amazing show (with the choir) in its own right - and there were relatively few people in the audience (in total I think the venue seats 228 people. BTW there is ample parking all around if you are willing to walk a block. The soul food buffet was very good, and even included a glass of wine, beer or soda. Would we return? Absolutely and

We've transformed the space into a disco, a French cabaret, and more. The management and staff are always helpful and responsive. The location offers both indoor and outdoor space, which is helpful, especially if the weather is a bit unpredictable (we did get some drizzle once, and it was easy for guests to move inside temporarily). There is free street parking, but we frequently hire valet services for extra convenience. Highly recommend ISSUE for events!

Got to sit in the second row to see author, Cassandra Clare, at the LA Times Festival of Books!…read more There was plenty of room for everyone but it was packed. The seats are comfortable and the aisles had plenty of space for walking. There's restrooms upstairs and gender neutral single restrooms as well. Right next to the auditorium, there was a book signing for Cassandra Clare for a limit of 500 people but I think when I was in line there couldn't have been more than 250.

Saw Francis Mercier here and holy moly, what a venue!…read more I'll admit, I was a little nervous driving in. GPS had me cutting through Skid Row, and when it said I was close to the venue I thought, "wait.....we really about to party here?!" Thankfully, California Plaza has its own parking structure and once you pull in, everything feels safe and organized. Parking was $10 cash or $17 card at my event. From there it was a breeze, just hop in the elevator straight up to the venue. The DJ stage was beautiful, sound and lighting were amazing, and there were plenty of spots to chill if you needed a break. Bathrooms were clean with plenty of stalls (longest line I waited in was maybe 2 minutes, which is nothing for a packed show). The VIP area looked pretty underwhelming. Personally, I wouldn't bother with VIP tickets here. Overall though, fantastic night, incredible music, and I'd definitely come back for another show!

Recently saw Camel Phat here and thought it was ok. The positive is parking was $10 and at the…read morevenue, lots of room to move around and good views of downtown. Negatives were I wasn't a fan of the sound system here and the attendees were all local L.A or Westside people that were here to be seen. It wasn't an EDC vibe, but more of a networking event with DJ's in the background. The loud conversations everyone was having and the sound system being centered in one area just made it lackluster. I've been a Camel Phat fan since the beginning or at least 2018/2019 so to see all their sets go off on You Tube videos then come to this was a little disappointing. Not their fault, just the crowd drowned out the sound. Sometimes the L.A. crowd is such a bummer.

The entire group became one big happy family by the end of the night. It was sooooo much fun. I definitely recommend this extraordinary experience and I will be purchasing more tickets to attend future events. Thank you Spark It Up Crawl, I shall return very soon!!!!!

I saw a boxing match here a while back…read more The building was beautiful and interesting but the space wasn't exactly right for this event. There was no food available, there was only a tiny, portable bar and the wall on which the fight was shown had a pipe running down the center. Not exactly the best screen. There was also one, single toilet for the 70-80 people in the room. That was maybe the biggest issue. The line of four or five guys standing around in the hall desperately trying to look cool as they resisted the urge to do the pee pee dance. The photography area looked cool and bedrooms were roomy and well appointed, apparently available on AirBnB. But as a frequent AirBnB guest I couldn't help but notice that the place seemed less suited for an overnight stay and more suited for a porn shoot.

There was around 35-40 people that came. So much space to set up a foto booth, string lights, extra chairs, pong table, balloons and many other decorations. The kitchen helped out so much with storing the drinks, a high table to serve drinks from, and a long table to place trays of food. Huge plus was also the surround sound which my friend easily played music for the party the whole night. The private room in the back was great for storing our belongings and just having an extra space to relax from the party. Some friends thought I spent a couple grand to book the place, but it was actually much more affordable that the other places I was researching with similar size and quality. They said they want to do the same thing for their birthdays and we're amazed that I found such a great spot. Vette, the owner, was in her office the whole night, but I didn't even notice she was around. She did help make sure to ask if I needed anything else for the party and have us directions/insight on stores & restaurants nearby. Overall, I would 100% recommend this penthouse to everyone! Such a diverse space to host any type of party. It completely exceeded my boyfriend's expectations and he was very happy. Thank you so much for allowing me to host such a great party!

I've called several and this company was by far the best deal hands up. There is a contract written up. On-site attendant to change the colors and patterns of the floor to your lliking. Nice presentation of the 360 photoboth with red carpet, stanchions, and LED lights surrounding. Cons: Attendant did not look presentable for the occasion. There were several occasions where my guests thought he was an unhoused person crashing the party. The attendant's set up took over a large space that was not talked about beforehand. My venue was small and the dj and band had to scramble to find new space and outlets because the attendant had already set up in an area that was already going to be used for others. Attendant wanted to leave the huge LED cases around the venue, in plain sight, Instead of taking them back to the van. 360 videos were grainy. This was free so It didnt really matter to me however, I wouldn't have been happy if I had paid for this service. Overall, I would recommend this company if your looking for the best deal, have a venue with plenty of space, and don't mind the presentation of the attendant. Do check with the company re the space and requirements needed beforehand. Also be aware that the attendant records and posts on their social media for advertising.

The wait time outside was extremely long and we weren't let in until about 6:15pm, which seemed late. Once we were in, the merch lines had super long lines as well so we bypassed those to get some refreshments. We found our seats and waited to enjoy the show. The group came out and it was fantastic! The only zonk would be the seats were pretty close together so you didn't have too much dance space without bumping a neighbor. Other than that the vibe was electric! A smaller, intimate space means all 6,000 of us are in it together to vibe with the group! We were sitting in the 3rd tier but it was a great show regardless. There were two small screens on either side, but we had a good view of the stage. The group can out to the audience a few times, the huge screens behind the stage made the show visually appealing. Cortis is amazing! Can't wait to see them in a bigger venue! We would definitely see another group at the YouTube Theater!

I was able to view the stage without having to stand up despite everyone else in front of me standing up so that was a bonus (because I was in the aisle seat). One of the security guards took a photo for me when I asked. The areas were spacious. There were plenty of bathrooms. There were food trucks outside. I liked that merchandise was also sold outside. The acoustics inside were good. The theater is modern with a lot of glass walls in the hallway areas. There are several concession stands and a lot of workers. The bad: The parking I got was listed as "You Tube theater parking" but was extremely far away. That's not Youtube Theater's fault but I do think parking is tricky. It was a little tricky to see the letters for rows for seats during the dark and I thought there'd be attendants at each door entryway but there was not so I had to ask a few people inside and go in and out a few times to confirm where my seat was. The interesting: The main entrance was closed for my event so I had to go to entry #10. The security line went quickly and the lady scanning my ticket was cheerful and nice.
