Nathaniel was the entrainment for my wife's 50th Birthday. He wandered around the party and did up close magic for the guests. Everybody really enjoyed his performances. There were people in different areas of our property and Nathaniel visited different groups so that every could be regaled by his talent. In fact, every guest got to see several performances. Before the party, Nathaniel requested some background on my wife's interests. I really appreciate that Nathaniel incorporated this information when he performed for her. Nathaniel also made sure to show her magic a couple of times during the party, and had a final trick just before he left. I felt personal. A great gift for my wife. I also want to mention that setting up with Nathaniel was very easy. His fee as reasonable and he answered quickly when I asked for a quote. We reviewed what I was looking for and what kind of magic he performed. I like that I felt he understood what I was hoping for. He even had several ways for me to pay that were convenient. Nathaniel was perfectly on time, and even stayed a little late. He was very professional to me, and kinda magical to my guests. I recommend Nathanial for your party. read more

We hired Nethaniel for our Halloween party this year (2025). He was fantastic! He entertained all of our guests (which were mixed-ages, families) with some amazing magic. In fact, everyone was talking about them well after he left and even a few days later. He also arrived on-time, performed above and beyond the requested time and was very friendly/approachable. We will definitely hire him again! read more

We hired Nathaniel for our wedding. What started as a night of magic turned into something much more. With encouragement, he did the conga, the Soul Train line, and even took part in our silhouette station. He wowed absolutely everyone with his charisma, talent, and warmth. He of course is an incredible magician on top of all of this. He even did a personal magic show for my husband and I, which made our reception quite special. We 100% recommend Nathaniel for anyone looking for something truly magical. read more

Thank You Nathaniel for a great show! We had a company zoom holiday party and you kept us all engaged. Many compliments from our guests were received on how well you interacted and involved the children who joined in. Magical Nathaniel did a great job recently keeping a group of 30 kids, parents, and grandparents engaged during a magic show involving a variety of cool magic tricks for a remote 6th birthday party on Zoom. MN was very prompt in communicating and setup of the party was a breeze. Plenty of compliments were received! read more

Magical Nathaniel was such a pleasure to work with as well as an amazing performer for both the adult and children. We booked him for our company's breakfast with Santa party. We had a mixture of kids, teenagers, and adults and to our surprise, he was able to entertain all! His performance was not only engaging, he was so funny! Our executives loved him and was informing me to book him again for our future events. The process of booking Nathaniel up until departure was professional, prompt and efficient. He made the process very seamless for us and was extremely patient even though our procedures were overly tedious. I honestly would no doubt book him again and would recommend him to anyone out there who's looking for a magician. Thank you again, Nathaniel! You were a delight! read more

Had Magical Nathaniel do a birthday party for my son over Zoom. Pandemic birthdays are a bit lame by nature but Magical Nathaniel gave the kids something to do :) He is a good show man and my son very much enjoyed the tricks! My son also took some classes from Magical Nathaniel early on in the Pandemic which was helpful for my husband and I to get a few minutes to ourselves while he learned magic tricks. He was always excited to share his tricks with us and his grandparents after class was over! read more

Years later after seeing him at a party, we hired Nathaniel for our own son's birthday party. It's still a lockdown, so we opted to do it via zoom. He amazed all the 9 year olds at our party and somehow managed to be engaging, funny and interesting despite the zoom medium. :) Setting the whole thing up was easy, and he's very friendly on calls/emails. Can't ask for more! We're still scratching our heads over his tricks. Very fun! read more

As parents, we've seen our fair share of magicians, but Magical Nathaniel was a clear stand out for us. He was at a 6 yr old's bday party we were at this weekend. He kept the kids engrossed the entire time. I'm not going to lie, I had a tough time looking away and maintaining adult conversations as some of his tricks were incredibly interesting and eye catching. He's also a joy to watch perform. I took his card and bookmarked him on yelp for my daughter's bday. He was a huge treat and the highlight of the party. read more

Update: My 7-year-old son just took Nathaniel's Virtual Summer Magic Camp , and absolutely LOVED it. He looked forward to it every day, and is still showing random family & friends his magic. For a really reasonable fee, Nathaniel sent an extensive package of props, held 2 hours of class a day for 5 days (where he taught a handful of kids on Zoom really interesting tricks, encouraged them to perform, "critiqued" their performance in a really constructive and kind way), and also sent a video of the class so they could practice later. Highly recommend as a special virtual activity! read more

We hired Magical Nathaniel for my son's 9th birthday in a local pizza restaurant and it's the best decision ever! He customized the show based on my son's interest and the crowd's age group. He arrived on time to setup so that the magic show started and ended promptly. My son and his friends had a fantastic time. Lots of surprises and WOWs. Amazing performance and kids hardly blinked their eyes during the show. The kids even talked about the magic tricks at school recess times. Highly recommend Magical Nathaniel to all the kids who are big fans of illusion and magic. read more

Nathaniel was great for our grownup Zoom birthday party, the tricks were really good, and being on Zoom lets you get real close to the action. Nathan's showmanship and management of the various cameras are on point. We'd totally hire him again and definitely recommend him read more

I booked Magical Nathaniel for a 9 year old birthday party in our home. Booking with him was simple. He offered multiple payment options, clear pricing, and was punctual to the event. He delivered exactly what was promised, and all the kids (and adults!) loved his perfomance. He was humorous and fun. We also paid for an additional magic lesson option, which all of the kids were able to do successfully with some age appropriate instruction. His close up card tricks were great, and his balancing skills were amazing. More disclosure, by the time we had the party, I had already seen him twice. On my third viewing, I still thought he was great! Highly recommend him for kid parties. read more

I run the Hillside Club in Berkeley and we have galas for our members three times per year, this year we were not able to meet in person so we had a virtual dinner. We hired Nathaniel to do a show and show us some tricks and he was wonderful and impressive. It was the perfect UNIQUE way to change up a zoom meeting. Lots of laughing, clapping and fun. I recommend him for any virtual gathering! read more

We saw Magical Nathaniel at the Palo Alto Wacky Wednesdays last summer, and knew we had to get him for my daughter's 5th birthday party. It was such a blast! He has a great energy with the kids, while still performing amazing tricks that the adults enjoyed trying to wrap their heads around. He even created a custom trick to help fit with the party's theme, which was magical bunnies. Magical Nathaniel is really awesome and very professional to work with. It's a wonderful experience having little kids come up to you a day later, and thank you for the amazing show. I would totally recommend him! read more

Great magician, did a birthday party for us and was wonderful! Thank you Magical Nathaniel!

After reading positive reviews for this magician I was really looking forward to hiring him but was very disappointed and dissatisfied with his lack of communication and professionalism. I confirmed the party date and time with someone on Monday and then immediately got an email that they hadn't heard from me in days which wasn't the case or acceptable. They told me my party was moved to the waiting list cause I hadn't responded but I had. When I tried to clear up the confusion nobody tried to fix the situation or book the event. Not Nathaniel or whoever was emailing me. Then I was told (after our party had already happened) that he wasn't available. Needless to say I decided to go with a different performer because I was concerned about the lack of organization and worries that he wouldn't even show up to perform magic at the party. read more

Nathaniel gave a performance for a company event, and it was great. The audience was mostly technical, and he weaved in many acts that appeal to the technically minded (and since Nathaniel studied math in college, he can relate.) But he also included magic that is entertaining for a broader audience, with a mix of audience participation, a few physical acts, and with a lot of humor. I think he'd give a great performance for adult and children, and at parties as well as work events. read more

Magical Nathaniel performed at my son's first birthday party. The kids had a blast and the adults enjoyed it too. Some of the tricks that Nathaniel performed were jaw dropping, even for adults. And after his show Nathaniel taught some tricks to the kids which they enjoyed. I totally recommend adding Nathaniel's magic to your event. read more

Today we had magical Nathaniel visit our after school program for ages K-5th and it was a great show! We had about 65 kids all of different ages and they were all fascinated by his tricks! His tricks even had the teachers puzzled! His material was really fresh, he was funny, and kept the kids entertained the whole time! The process of hiring him was really easy. He was always quick to reply to my emails. He showed up to our center early so he had plenty of time to set up. Definitely perfect for our end of the year party! read more

Magical Nathaniel came out to Burlingame to do a magic show for the old and young alike. It was phenomenal! He was relaxed, funny with very impressive tricks. The young laughed and the old were engaged throughout the entire performance. Nathaniel brought so much joy to the entire room. Additionally, he was very professional and easy to get in touch with. He is flexible and has a generous spirit. I would not hesitate to ask Magic's Nathaniel to come out again! read more

Nathaniel was very accommodating for our feisty group of seven-year-old kids who thought that they knew everything. Truth be told they were left in awe and amazed by his tricks. Even the adults at the party enjoyed the performance that included plenty of participation for both young and old alike. Would highly recommend Nathaniel for anyone needing a magician for their party and a little bit of humor to keep things light. Definitely request that he perform the "death-defying" Rubik's Cube blindfold balance trick--you'll be impressed! read more

Nathaniel was outstanding! He did a virtual magic show for our team holiday celebration (we work for a corporate retailer but couldn't come together in person). Nathaniel recently performed at my son's 12th birthday party and everyone loved him! I think the adults were almost more wowed than the kids were--I still am baffled by some of his tricks. Besides being a great magician, he was also professional, on time, extremely friendly and approachable. Overall, he's a really talented magician who made the whole evening so memorable for everyone. We highly recommend him! read more

Do you believe in magic? You certainly will after one of his acts. I've seen his performances on several occasions that consist of his signature classics along with some new bits that I've never seen, so there's always something new for those that have the pleasure to see his shows more than once. He does a fantastic job at incorporating the audience into his tricks with his animated personality. Birthdays, weddings, talent shows, fundraisers. Hire him for your events. Magical Nathaniel will work his magic with the thousands of tricks he somehow manages to fit under his sleeve. I've seen a lot of his tricks, and trust me, they're mind-blowing. He does have one specific request though, and it's to be the last act. Best for last? Absolutely. His shows are the cherry on top to any event and will bring the house DOWN! Whether it be humans, monsters, or aliens, he knows how to woo a crowd. He has something for everybody. You won't be disappointed. Your kids will love him. You will love him. Even I love him. He only gets better and better from here on out. He's an absolute pleasure to work with and I'm so glad that the Bay Area is fortunate to have such a spectacular talent! read more

Magical Nathaniel recently performed at our magic-obsessed 7 year old's birthday party. The kids-- aged 4-12-- were all engrossed, as were the parents. Magical Nathaniel is funny, engaging, and just a great magician. We also had him stay to teach the kids a trick, which they loved. Parents who couldn't attend told me they had heard how great he was from other people at the party. He's also super-responsive, organized, and detail-oriented and overall a pleasure to work with as a parent. I highly recommend him if you're looking for a party performer. read more

Magical Nathaniel performed at our company holiday party and he exceeded our expectations. Nathaniel performed for our family birthday party this past weekend and he was a big hit. Everyone, from the 6-year old to the 79-year old, enjoyed his show. He was very engaging and got the birthday person as well as several other key guests involved in his performance. We still talk about his fun and mind-boggling acts days afterwards. In addition to his great acts, he was a pleasure to work with. He was very responsive to our many requests, got there on time and took every little time to set up. Because his act was a surprise, we asked him to set up in our basement. The low ceiling did not allow him to perform some of the planned activities but he improvised and adapted his show accordingly without any problem. I highly recommend Nathaniel. read more

Our kids are older now, but we had the pleasure of having Nathaniel perform at several parties when they were from ages 4-8 yrs old. Magical Nathaniel entertained about 40 children at our library program last week. He kept them engaged over Zoom with his Magic Workshop, which is quite a magic trick in itself! The kids had fun learning how to do magic tricks themselves with everyday objects. He is really funny and has a lot of patience, which was appreciated by both kids and adults. He performed pre-pandemic last year at my library and he was a huge hit. We 'll be booking him again! read more
