First of all I want say a huge thank you to Robert Baxt as our scheduled magician got sick and without a single hesitation Robert saved the day and I could not be more satisfied!!! Robert was awesome! He is a man of many talents. He did Wacky Science at my children's school. He was very good with little people crowd control. He was very professional and yet friendly. He was very organized and maintained the kids interest all throughout 45 minutes of the program. It was a K-5th grade. Their attention span is not long, but he managed to keep them mesmerizing. I hope we will get to see his show again! read more

Great Show! The show was for an Anniversary party for family. We had requested the performance be geared to our six grandchildren ages 4-11. All of the tricks, except one for the adults (and that was prefaced with advance approval), were for the grandchildren and Robert engaged each of them in his performance. All of us thoroughly enjoyed the show. read more

I was lucky enough to attend a virtual magic show featuring Robert Baxt. He was not just amazing, he was hilarious too. The show is perfect for adults who enjoy comedy and magic. Wow! THE BEST! We run the largest Magic Camp in Southern California called EPIC Magic Camp. Our students know magic! Every week we hire a world renowned professional magician. And every day is a different theme. Wednesday was Harry Potter day. We could think of nobody better than Robert Baxt. Robert was amazing! Wonderful entertainer for both kids and adults. We recently had Robert perform his comedy and magic routine in a social distant show for our niece's birthday. He is an incredibly funny magician. He was able to perform tricks simple enough for the kids to enjoy while still performing tricks that entertained the adults. I would highly recommend Robert. Robert is a fantastic entertainer for both kids and their parents. Robert made our 5 year olds birthday party extra special and all the kids loved it. Robert arrived early to set up and started on time, the kids were engaged throughout (which is a rare sight for a sizable group of 5 year olds), kid friendly jokes, fun magic tricks and performances from the kids including our son were all to be seen during the act. Robert even gave our son some magic themed birthday gifts at the end which was a really nice touch. We had a wonderful experience and I can't recommend Robert enough. Thanks again! read more

From the time we were inquiring until the time he left the party, 5 Stars no doubt. He kept us well informed and walked us through the process, addressed questions and concerns in a timely manner and was a true professional. Robert was well organized and dressed to the theme of the party. His connection with an audience is family friendly which we experienced through our daughter's 10th birthday party. He included the birthday girl and her 2 younger siblings and guests on his performance. His tricks and humor had the crowd wanting more. Robert definitely exceeded our expectations and I'm sure he'd be happy to know of all the compliments he received through our guests the following day. I've hired him not once, but twice, for a hotel's signature "Winter Magic" entertainment series, and he is always professional, always hilarious, and always uniquely entertaining. His vaudeville showman delivery style and incredibly quick wit are total crowd-pleasers. He engages the audience in every way, from kids to seniors, with something for everyone. Other magicians learn their tricks from HIM! No joke, he's a legend in the business, a 25-year veteran of Hollywood's Magic Castle, Vegas, and TV, and does bits that nobody else does, like old-fashioned variety show plate-spinning. I hired Robert Batx upon the recommendation of the caterer I use for my company's Christmas party, and boy, this was a gold star x 100 referral. My company is owned by a Japanese conglomerate, and a good percentage of our employees are Hispanic. Turns out that Robert is fluent in English, Japanese and Spanish. The faces of my top management were priceless as he spoke to them in their language! So score big points for me for looking like a genius finding this guy. And now for his mad magick skillz - I am still wondering how he did all of the close up magic tricks. I mean, he's standing in front me of me and I have no clue how he turned five $1.00 bills into five $20.00 bills. I wish I could hire him as our CFO... heh. Robert is extremely personable, professional, funny and downright amazing. He arrived early and worked the party throughout the entire time he was scheduled. I could NOT be happier. I would recommend Robert Batx to everyone looking to add a little something different to their parties. I hired Rob on December 14th, 2013 for my daughter's 8th birthday. I had also contacted several magicians prior to deciding to go with Robert to see what others had to offer. Even though some others offered slightly lower rate, I decided to go with Robert. He gave me a really good impression just by talking to him on the phone. I could say with confident that Robert is the most professional and enthusiastic magician of all the others I had spoken over the phone. Robert got back with me so quickly, he answered my emails and returned my phone calls immediately and answered all questions or concerns I had. He followed up the day before the event, showed up 20 minutes early. The magic/ comedy show was a great success, Robert was able to get all the kids (18 KIDS!) to sit down for a whole hour and entertained them. The kids as well as the parents really enjoyed the show. Kids and parents were laughing so loud. The show was totally a great hit! Robert deserves a 5 stars rating! Hire him for your next party, you won't be disappointed! Established in 1990.

Robert was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York and has the quick wit to prove it! He has performed around the world and made appearances on Network TV shows. He is a favorite at the Magic Castle in Hollywood and he can make any event great for the guests and stress free for you! :-)

Meet the Business Owner: Robert B.

Robert was born to perform! A ham since birth, he is proud of the fact that he has never had a "real" job. After putting himself through college with money he earned from performing, he was presented with the dual opportunities of being accepted to both Ringling Bros. Clown College, and to Law School. Without hesitation, our hero chose the one that would better for his comedy career: Law School! But after graduating with a juris doctorate degree, Robert never practiced and proceeded to a full time career in show business. His comedy magic act, won both the 1st Prize in the National International Brotherhood of Magicians Convention (Lance Burton handed him the trophy and Robert claims it still has his DNA on it!), followed the next year by a FISM trophy for Comedy in Madrid, Spain. He has performed in Las Vegas, on Cruise Ships, and at Conventions around the world. He speaks many languages including Spanish, Japanese, and some French, Armenian, Korean, Russian, Hebrew, & more!

Lots of upbeat enjoyable magic that can morph into what your needs might be. This is the second time that I hired Robert for a birthday party. He was just as wonderful as he was five years ago when I hired him for my niece. Everyone , children and adults all enjoyed the show! BOOK HIM! You will not be disappointed. he is punctual , professional and a very good Magician! I still would like to know how he did some of those tricks myself!
