We met David at a Magic After Hours event at Beachwood Distillery on a weeknight, and he was nothing short of incredible! We didn't know what to expect from the event, but when we saw David sitting at a table with a couple doing tricks, it looked like they were having a lot of fun. So I approached the table and when I caught his eye, he waved us over, inviting us to sit at his table. I have never seen close-up magic before, and this was about as close as I've ever been to a magician. Truly, I was amazed with his magic- I honestly do not understand how he was able to pull off his tricks, especially at close range where we were focused on his every move. We are in our late 20s and the show was amazing, it's definitely not only for kids to enjoy. We booked David for a 30-40 minute seated show + closeup magic, where he walked around the party for about 1.5 hours after the show. The show was a great mix of incredible/impressive magic, silly/funny tricks, and comedy! Our guests were so entertained, intrigued, and delighted with David's jokes and tricks. I definitely recommend booking the closeup magic as well, which was a huge highlight for us. David is very personable and did a great job of walking up to every single group, making sure everyone at the party was able to see an up-close magic trick. Since our show was local to OC, when I offered if David wanted to come out to our house a few weeks prior to do a walkthrough, he obliged.
