Lovin' Spoonful offers a four or five specials daily...sandwiches mostly, with salads on the side. We've eaten there twice, and both times got a very fresh sandwich and side salad. Our favorite was the falafel & hummous sandwich. It was piled high with two or three large falafel balls and tons of veggies. It was served on a nice, crusty, home-made pita. I may have gotten unlucky or come here at a bad time, but I found the food here to be really underwhelming. Everything was really dry: the gyro meat, falafels and even the tzatziki somehow. Outside of that, taste-wise it was pretty average. The texture of the falafels was unusual, sort of like a hash brown. My favorite thing about this stop was that they had a brewery right next door where you could grab a beer and eat it with your gyro, but the brewery is unaffiliated with this spot. I've had much better Colorado mountain town Mediterranean food trucks (Telluride's for instance).
