What an amazing office. The doctor I saw (forgive me, I don't remember his name) was amazing. He took one look at my face and diagnosed me with such confidence that four other dermatologists (over 7 years) have not been able to. The meds he prescribed are already working and he put me on a regimen that I'm certain will be effective. A dermatologic penthouse in the sky?? I've been coming to this office for over 6 years and even though it's in Aventura and I live in Miami, it's totally worth the drive. Whitney is amazing at what she does as well as the rest of the office staff. I've been battling acne on and off for a while and they are extremely knowledgeable on new treatments and products that always help whatever issue I'm dealing with. There just are no words to describe the level of expertise and professionalism that I have received over the past several years from Horwitz Dermatology. WHITNEY is hands down the ABSOLUTE BEST at her trade!!! I've never met a professional that LOVES and is so ACTIVELY INVOLVED with what she does! I honestly have so much trust and respect for her because she really understands and cares about your needs. Going there has always been a nice treat, and she and the rest of the team are so great that they have become like family to me now. Being that I suffered from cystic acne from ages 13 to 28 and painfully dealt with several dermatologists before I started going to her, I never felt like she didn't listen about past treatments that didn't work for me. I went to Dr. Horowitz's office and he did not even appear. Later is was told he died. I was never seen by a doctor, I was taken care of by "Whitney" the nurse. She ended up cutting something out of my arm to have it tested. When I went back to have the stitches removed I asked about the test because the "call" I received from Whitney barely explained it. Also, when I did ask her to explain while I was there for the stitches removal, They billed me for an additional office visit. Most of the nurses are not friendly at all, almost to the point of being rude. In my opinion, this is a Hialeah cosmetic butcher shop. Terrible experience. BEWARE read more

I had the most unpleasant experience in this doctor's office. My appointment was rescheduled twice without notice and my emails were rejected as spam by the system. Kellianne is a person that lacks all the fundamental skills to deal with a patient. I hope the doctor takes my recommendation and checks his security cameras on Tuesday, April, 28th. between 10:!5 am and 11:15, approximately. I was the only patient there, and I was insulted and treated like garbage for being late to the appointment, for reasons beyond my control. No patient has to endure such treatment, moreover no human being. The front desk "Kelly", raised her voice at me without a reason, she treated me like a child, stating that I was only a new patient, among other things, she stopped when I started filming her after asking her lower her voice. However, she grabbed the phone and called the police because she wanted me out of there, and "needed somebody to escort me out". The police informed her this wasn't a police matter, but she insisted. I met with the police outside and they went upstairs to obtain the information I needed to file a formal complaint. She provided a card. I'll make sure every friend of mine seeking for professional skincare knows about my experience, don't underestimate word of mouth. I see this place has less than 2.5 stars on Google already. It deserves 0 stars. read more
